Sascha Lappessen biography

Sash! project frontman was born in June 1970 in Nettedal (Germany). His passions are football and submarine diving. He's been learning how to play the organ since the age of 8, but his father forced him to become an engineer in electronics in order to become his successor as chirman of his electronics company. Sascha worked in many commercial jobs but music remained his first passion. He met 2 producers in the discotheque where he worked (the King's Club of Kaldenkirschen) and in 1993 they released their first single, Indian Rave under the name Careca. Then came It's My Life under project name Sash!

With Sash!, he sold over 22 million albums worldwide and earned more than 65 Gold and Platinum awards. They are all in Sascha's home, and he complains that it takes a long time to clean the dust off them... Sascha lives in Viersen
