Raff Todesco biography

Italian producer, composer and songwriter Raffaello Todesco studied engineering at the University of Padua in 1966. He studied the guitar and began to compose his own songs following the lead of the musical line from Lucio Battisti. In 1968, he produced the Beat group I Totem. In 1971, he recorded and released his first composition : Voglia di te sung by Renato Intra. Then in 1979 he produced the song She'll come to me for the group Mixage and turned to dance music.

In 1980 he created the label Fly Music with Mario Percali and Piero Fidelfatti. Most well-known productions were Italo Disco/Dance music songs such as Video - Somebody and singles for the project Time. They split in 1984, the same year Raff and Mario created Ram Productions label (RAM = Raff and Mario). In 1985, Raff created RA - RE Productions (RA - RE = Raff Record). Paciulli, then Sergio Bonzanni (in 1988) joined the team. Without abandoning RA - RE Productions, Sergio and Raff founded Magma Records label.

Then in the 90s Raffaello and Sergio Bonzanni (aka Tobo) contributed to some eurodance projects such as S-bam, Lory Lee, GHYBLJ, Miky Mouse...

Between 1998 to 2004 he worked for the Blues (Arthur Miles). He produced for the multinational record companies like Sony and EMI.

Nowadays, Raff works in Milano as a producer for Italian deejay oriented record label Only The Best Record.
