    On February 2nd she compteted against Anita Heilker (former member of girls band Dolly Dots in the 80s). After a song battle (where she sung River Deep, Mountain High), she won the round 99 votes against 2.

    Kim Sanders took part as a candidate. During blind auditions, she performed a cover of Des're's You gotta be. All judges/coaches (Nena, Xavier Naidoo, Rea Garvey and The BossHoss) showed interest in having her in their team. Kim chose to enter Nena's team.
    During the first battle, she sung versus Alicia Emmi Berg a cover of Rihanna's song Only Girl In The World.
    On 23rd December, she was selected for the live shows.
    On the live shows series on January 6th, Kim sung her version of Ace Of Base's All That She Wants and passed the selection for the next shows (by coach's vote).
    On January 20th, she sung her version of the Fugees' Killing Me Softly and once again was selected for the next episode, this time by public vote.
    On January 27th, she performed Empire State Of Mind and was selected, again by public's vote.
    On February 3rd, she sung Haunted was selected by public's vote for the final.
    On February 10th, she performed with Nena, with Marlon Roudette and solo. She ended #2.
    Produced by Talpa and Schwartzkopff TV-Productions, "The Voice of Germany" aired on Pro7 and Sat1 on Thursdays and Fridays (rebroadcast on saturdays) since 24 November 2011.

    Laura sung her version of Heavy cross during the blind auditions. She was chosen to be member of Xavier Naidoo's team.
    Laura was eliminated after her song battle against Max Giesinger on the song Radioactive.

     

    Charles Simmons

    Charles was selected during the blind auditions after singing his version of Seal's Love Devine and entered Rea's team.
    He won the battle against Arcangelo Vigneri, singing R.E.M.'s Everybody Hurts
    on December 23rd, he was therefore selected for the live shows.
    On January 6th, he sung his own version of Closer To The Edge, but was eliminated.

     

    Dancing On Ice - Antena 1 (Greece) Greece

    Helena joined the judging panel on the first season of ANT1's Dancing on Ice. Other jury members were announcer & sports commentator Alexis Kostalas and entertainment industry businessman and television presenter Petros Kostopoulos. The show, which paired professional figure skaters with celebrities, premiered on 6 November. It was hosted by Jenny Mpalatsinou (Miss Greece 1993).
    Elena Paparizou's television debut was praised as a highlight on the show because "she demonstrated that she has reason and can stand worthily in her place. Comfortable, with humour, she gave appropriate critique to the contestants and even made fun of her own mistakes in Greek." (NewsIT)

He composed and produced the song Call My Name, a song for the winner Pietro Lombardi and the #2 candidate Sarah Engels (which went #1 in Germany). The season began airing on RTL on January 8th, 2011

    September frontlady took part to the TV4 show with other famous Swedish singers (Lasse Berghagen, Barbro "Lill-Babs" Svensson, Petter Askergren, Thomas Di Leva, Christer Sandelin (from Freestyle) and Plura Jonsson). Every candidate had to sing their version of the other candidates' hits. The artists spend 8 days together at a hotel in Gotland. The show premiered on October 23rd, 2010.

    In the 4th season of Flemish version of Dancing With The Stars, Jelle teamed with dance teacher and model Pascal Maassen. Together, they performed :
    a chachacha (on Lady Gaga's Just Dance on March 26th),
    a tango (on Bob Sinclar's Kiss My Eyes on April 2nd),
    a rumba (on Take a Bow from Rihanna on April 9th),
    a slow foxtrot (on Jennifer Hudson's Love You I do on April 16th),
    a samba (on Paolina Rubio Viva el Verano on April 23rd),
    a waltz (on One Day My Prince Will Come on April 30th).
    They were eliminated on April 30th, ending #6, but they came back in the last Show "Live to dance".
    Other VIP candidates were actor Louis Talpe (winner), actor Kevin Janssens,
    food coach Sonja Kimpen, actor Peter Van den Begin, TV host An Lemmens, schlager singer Laura Lynn, auto pilot Anthony Kumpen, politician Wouter Van Bellingen and actor

    1st episode screened on 20th October. On November 3rd, opera singer Ricardo Marinello won the final and 100,000 €.

    Girls trio from Djumbo were the subject of a weekly reality-soap. The show followed Svenja, Lindsy and Lotte during the preparation of their live appearances, autogram sessions, their choreography rehearsals and video shootings. The show was broadcasted on Dutch channel Tros between September 2007 and March 2008.
    The show's theme was the song Dit is real.

    25/11/2007 : recording session for the new single Dit Is Real
    02/12/2007 : the girls meet Santa Claus
    09/12/2007 : the project perfoms at Sinterklaasfeest and are guests at De wereld van K3.
    23/12/2007 : a performance in a shopping center, snowboarding, and celebration around the Xmas tree
    30/12/2007 : an appointment in a luxury beauty salon, and a videoclip in SciFi outfit

    Filip Nikolic, real-TV star Loana, aristocrat Charles-Philippe d'Orléans, road racing cyclist Richard Virenque, TV host Delphine de Turckheim, model Satya Oblet and alpine skier Marielle Goitschel. They competed for 50 000 € for the benefit of a welfare association (Indra's assocation was Louis Carlesimo, to help ill children).
    Indra was eliminated on 12th day. Winner of the game was Richard Virenque.
    Episodes were shot in Teresópolis (Brazil), hosted by Jean-Pierre Foucault and Christophe Dechavanne, produced by Endemol France, aired on TF1.

    Third season began in Autumn 2005. That year, Dieter Bohlen, who was the only original jury member, did not produce any of the songs, nor for the collective album, nor for the winner. He was joined by former manager Heinz Henn and by music producer Sylvia Kollek.

    Along with 9 other candidates such as The Weather Girls, C.C. Catch, Coolio, Chris Norman and Jürgen Drews, Haddaway competed to win the possibility to record a new single. Every show saw him performing a cover in a style very far from eurodance (All night long, I believe I can fly, It's my life...). He was unfortunately eliminated before the finale.
    The episodes, produced by Constantin TV, aired between February and March 2004 on Pro7. Jury members were Harold Faltermeyer and Anastasia, plus one different guest judge each week.
    A double CD compilation of the songs sung by the candidates during the show was released in March.

    Caroline competed against 9 other talents such as Emilia, Limahl, Haddaway or Coolio to win a new recording contract. Every show saw her performing a cover in a style very far from her usual style.
    The series aired between February and March 2004 on Pro7. The show was hosted by popular TV presenter Arabella Kiesbauer. It was also broadcasted in Switzerland & Austria.

     

    La Vie rurale - (Canada) Canada

    Jacynthe starred, along with TV producer and singer Anne-Marie Losique and Guidoune, a 3 month old Jack-Russel terrier, in the Québécois version of the reality show The Simple Life, called La Vie Rurale. According to rumors, Jacynthe had never seen a hen for real before and feared to be bitten by cows...
    8 episodes were shot in a cow farm in Cantons-de-l'Est/Estrie. The show was broadcasted on MusiMax on Tuesdays at 22:00.

    Even if he was criticized for his controversial and insulting comments during season 1, Dieter Bohlen was again among the jury members for the second DSDS edition. He wrote 2 songs for the finalists' album (among them, the dance track A Young Generation). Winner Elli Erl agreed to release the Bohlen-produced coronation song This Is My Life in a remixed edition, but she refused collaborating with him on her debut album In My Dreams due to musical differences.

    Along with Thomas M. Stein, Shona Fraser and Thomas Bug, Dieter Bohlen was jury member of the first edition of DSDS (German equivalent of Pop Idol), RTL's casting-show. He quickly set the tone with his controversial sentences.
    He produced the single We Have a Dream sung by the 10 finalists of the show. It was awarded most sold single of the year in Germany. He also produced the DSDS album United, which was also a commercial success.

He was criticized for so-called over-emotional conflicts with candidates, and for manipulating them as mere puppets... He answered that after all, no one had forced the candidates to participate.
    Afterwards, Alex started collaborating with candidate Yasmin Knock.
