Prince Damien was among the candidates for DSDS 13th season. He was selected, along with 31 other contestants, to go to Jamaica for re-recalls. On April 9th, he was among the top 10 finalists.
On April 16th, during a show taking place in Merkers Adventure Mines, he sung Ich will nur, dass du weißt, a song originally released by SDP feat. Adel Tawil.
On April 23rd, he sung a cover of Eff's song Stimme.
On semi-final taking place on April 30th, he sung a cover of Unter meiner Haut, a song by Gestört aber GeiL & Koby Funk, as well as a duet with other candidate Igor Barbosa, a cover of Alles brennt by Johannes Oerding. He was selected for the final.
Prince won final. His debut single Glücksmoment was produced by Dieter Bohlen

 

 

 

2015

Liefde voor Muziek - VTM (Belgium) Belgium

Kate Ryan took part to real TV program Liefde voor Muziek on VTM. During one week, she stayed in a house in Spain with other Belgian artists Stan Van Samang, Slongs Dievanongs, Tom Helsen, Christoff and Guy Swinnen. They prepared and sung covers of each other's hits in their own style.

During first show on March 23rd, she covered Stan van Samang's single Junebug.
On March 30th she performed her own version of rapper Slongs Dievanongs's iFoon

Sabrina Salerno was candidate to real-TV talent show La Pista, against 7 other VIP candidates (such as Tony Hadley, Massimo Lopez, Paola Iezzi, Antonino et Amii Stewart). They had to show their singing and dancing skills in front of a jury amde of Gigi Proietti, Claudia Gerini and Rita Pavone. Show was hosted by Flavio Insinna.

Sabrina teamed with dancers troupe LECCEzione. On March 28th she sung a cover of Patrick Hernandez' Born To Be Alive and ended #5 ex-aequo with 2 other teams.
On April 4th, she sung a cover of Zucchero's Diavolo In Me and ended last.
On April 12th she sung a cover of Irene Grandi's Bum Bum and ended #6.
On April 17th, she sung a cover of Michael Sembello's Maniac and ended last. Next week, she will have to sing a cover of Abba's Dancing Queen.

 

Supervivientes - (Spain) Spain

After 3 years of pause, this new season of the Spanish equivalent of Survivor takes place in Honduras with a renewed concept. Teams are located on 2 separate islands : Isla bonita and Cayo Paloma, the two groups do not compete with each other but have to interact. Then, after a few eliminations and abandons, the 2 teams are fused together.
For this season, Jorge Javier Vázquez is the main host at the central studio in Madrid, while Raquel Sánchez Silva is co-hosting from the island, and Álvaro de la Lama hosting a side debate of the program.
Rebeca entered the competition on April 14th, along with Amador Mohedano, dropped from an helicopter. She is the first contestant to have already participated to an earlier edition (in 2005 edition Aventura en África).
On April 24th, she was attacked by mosquitos and evacuated from the island with 200 bites on her body. She was then reintegrated.
Beginning of May, she was among the nominated but was saved.
During 16th episode she was nominated again and this time was voted off.

DJ Bobo is one of the music-godfathers of this real-TV show for children, along with other artists and bands : Blue, Bosse, Cassandra Steen, Madcon, Max Mutzke, Mrs. Greenbird and Revolverheld. Jury was composed of singer Mieze Katz (Mia), opera singer Rolando Villazón, singer Roman Lob and producer Peter Hoffmann.
8 young candidates presented a song they wrote themselves.
DJ Bobo was the godfather of Pier Luca Abel, only 11, and his song Lost Without The Music. They performed it on stage together and won the final on April 4th.

During first episode, she won Prueba de fuego along with Nancy Alvarez (this trial consisted in preparing a rapid dish). Then, she was member of Equipo Violeta and won Prueba Eliminatoria by preparing a buffet for a 15th year anniversary party.
During second episode she was member of Equipo Gris and lost Prueba Eliminatoria (the team had to cook a special dish standing for love and passion).
During episode 3, she was member of Equipo Blanco and lost again Prueba Eliminatoria (trial conisted in cooking a meal for a family of 10 with only 25$). She had to take part to Bocado Decisivo.
During episode 4, she won Prueba Eliminatoria. The team had to cook a dinner od 3 dishes in only 2 hours.

On 13th May, they danced a salsa
On 20th May, theme was The Most Important Year in Your Life. Gloria sung and danced on a cover of Christina Aguilera's Express (Burlesque).
Winners were Angel and Dorina.

14/12 : they danced a rumba on Volumia!'s Afscheid, a song chosen as an homage to Linda's deceased brother, and were awarded 27 points.
21/12 : they danced a jive on Michael Bublé's Santa Claus is coming to town and were awarded 33 points
28/12 : they danced a salsa on Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Startin' Something and a Tango on Prince's When Doves Cry but did not make it to the semifinal.

HP Baxxter, Scooter frontman, was among the 4 jury members of X Factor 2012 on German channel Vox, along with Sandra Nasic, Sarah Connor and Moses Pelham.
First casting took place in Hamburg on May 6th.
In the show's second phase (bootcamps), candidates are allocated in categories. Each of the judges will be the mentor of one category. HP became mentor for female solo singers 16-24 ("I am the chicks terminator, so I want the chicks" he explained with a smile).
One candidate from his team, Melissa Heiduk, ended #2 at the finals. Winner of the season was a band (Mrs. Greenbird).

Starting from January 28th, second season saw DJ Bobo back as jury member, along with Christa Rigozzi and Roman Kilchsperger. The show aired on saturdays and wednesdays around 20:05, and was hosted by Anna Maier and Sven Epiney.
Finale aired on March 17th 2012 live from Kreuzlingen. It was won by Eliane Müller, 21 , from Luzern, with her cover version of Metallica Nothing Else Matters.

 

The Winner Is - SBS 6 (Netherlands) Netherlands

Des'ray competed in category Professionals.
On February 2nd she compteted against Anita Heilker (former member of girls band Dolly Dots in the 80s). After a song battle (where she sung River Deep, Mountain High), she won the round 99 votes against 2.
On February 23rd, she competed against Dewi Pechler with a cover of Beyonce Halo, and won the round 72 against 29.
On March 8th, Des'ray won the 3rd round again Lilian Day Jackson (she sung All By Myself), becoming the last candidate remaining in the professionals category.
On March 15th, she competed agains Jojse & Angela, singing Katy Perry's - Firework, and was unfortunately eliminated (she lost 40 to 61).

 

L'isola dei famosi - Rai 2 (Italy) Italy

Den Harrow was among the contestants (VIPS, anonymous and sons of VIPs) of 9th edition of L'isola dei famosi, Italian equivalent of Survivor. For this edition, 13 candidates were selected among competitors of the previous edition (called "eroi", meaning "heroes") and 7 new candidates (called "Eletti", meaning "elected"). Den's wife was among the guests on 25/01, 02/02 and 09/02.
Nominated during the show of February 2nd, he announced on February 13th that he quitted the show because of health problems.
Show screened on Rai Due and took place in Cayo Cochinos (Honduras). It was hosted by Nicola Savino and Vladimir Luxuria.

Kim Sanders took part as a candidate. During blind auditions, she performed a cover of Des're's You gotta be. All judges/coaches (Nena, Xavier Naidoo, Rea Garvey and The BossHoss) showed interest in having her in their team. Kim chose to enter Nena's team.
During the first battle, she sung versus Alicia Emmi Berg a cover of Rihanna's song Only Girl In The World.
On 23rd December, she was selected for the live shows.
On the live shows series on January 6th, Kim sung her version of Ace Of Base's All That She Wants and passed the selection for the next shows (by coach's vote).
On January 20th, she sung her version of the Fugees' Killing Me Softly and once again was selected for the next episode, this time by public vote.
On January 27th, she performed Empire State Of Mind and was selected, again by public's vote.
On February 3rd, she sung Haunted was selected by public's vote for the final.
On February 10th, she performed with Nena, with Marlon Roudette and solo. She ended #2.

On January 6th, he sung his own version of Closer To The Edge, but was eliminated.

 

Dancing On Ice - Antena 1 (Greece) Greece

Helena joined the judging panel on the first season of ANT1's Dancing on Ice. Other jury members were announcer & sports commentator Alexis Kostalas and entertainment industry businessman and television presenter Petros Kostopoulos. The show, which paired professional figure skaters with celebrities, premiered on 6 November. It was hosted by Jenny Mpalatsinou (Miss Greece 1993).
Elena Paparizou's television debut was praised as a highlight on the show because "she demonstrated that she has reason and can stand worthily in her place. Comfortable, with humour, she gave appropriate critique to the contestants and even made fun of her own mistakes in Greek." (NewsIT)

He produced the single We Have a Dream sung by the 10 finalists of the show. It was awarded most sold single of the year in Germany. He also produced the DSDS album United, which was also a commercial success.
