Manuela Barbara Kamosi Moasco Djogi was born January 26th 1973 in Democratic Republic of the Congo as it was still called Zaire. Yǎ is a Lingala diminutive word meaning "older sibling", so Ya Kid Kamosi simply means "the older Kamosi child". Her dad was the CEO of the Zaire national airline.

She had moved to Belgium when she was 11 years old, then Chicago, Illinois, USA, where she was introduced to rap and deep house music. Her sister, Karoline 'Leki' Kamosi, is an R&B singer. On her return to Belgium she became member of the rap group Fresh Beat Productions then teamed up with Jo Bogaert. She became the female rapper of his group Technotronic and can be heard on many of their greatest hits. She contributed to the first hit Pump Up The Jam (though her contribution was uncredited). She then appeared alongside professional and personal partner MC Eric on the breakthrough hit, This Beat Is Technotronic, which is considered by many to be the first hip house record. They teamed up again with Technotronic for Get Up! (Before The Night Is Over), which was another major international hit.

Afterwards Manuela was featured by the project Hi Tek in 1990 for the single Spin That Wheel. She also released some singles solo such as the track Awesome (for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II soundtrack) under SBK Records, and one album entitled One World Nation. The birth of a child then interrupted her plans. Her projected solo career seems to have petered out since that time.

Ya Kid K's Come Back Home was used as the music on the credit trailer of the film The Night We Never Met (1993, Matthew Broderick).

She came back with Technotronic for the release of the album Recall in 1995, with Black Diamond and Daisy Dee . Her voice appeared on the singles Move It To The Rhythm and Recall.

In 1996 Ya Kid K took part to several tracks on the solo album Robi Rob's Clubworld that Robert Clivilles' (one of the C of C+C Music Factory) released. Among them : Shake That Body and Make That Money.

1997 : Ya Kid K provided vocals for the 2 Skinnee J's cover of Pump Up the Jam entitled, BBQ. She sang "Pump up the gas grill," as the chorus.

In 2001, she released a track called Take A Trip (Semini Records). She also did a guest rap on Life Transmission, the 2001 album from Belgian avant-rockers DAAU.

In October 2005, Ya Kid K made a guest appearance on Public Warning the debut album of Lady Sovereign. Ya Kid K appears on the track Those Were the Days and can be clearly heard growling at the opening of the song.

2002, she released single Take A Trip on Semini Records.

2009 : Syndicate of Law featured Ya Kid K on their new single Citizen Of The Planet

2011 : she released in August a new solo digital single entitled Do U C Me Standing. She was also featured on Baronic Arts, Comes Love.

Yann Peifer was born in Weiler (Germany) on March 6th, 1974. He grew up sharing his interest in music with neighbourhood friends. As a teen, he improved his piano and guitar skills. In the early nineties he studied classical music in Koblenz and became part of a wedding-singer band. "The early days were tough but invaluable," Yanou remembers, “for many years we did all kinds of gigs all over Germany.“ The money he earned enabled him to buy - step by step - all the necessary equipment for the studio where he spent all his free time honing his producer skills. During the late nineties, Yanou started his professional career and made a name as a popular remixer for a vast number of acts and tracks in the international dance and hands-up scene. He did his first steps into the world of music by producing and writing a couple of tracks for the formation Beam & Yanou.

In 2001 he scored a huge hit with DJ Sammy and their single Heaven with vocalist Do.

2003 : he released a single featuring Do entitled On & On.

In 2004, Manian and him founded the project Cascada around vocalist Natalie Horler (a childhood acquaintance of Manian).

In October 2005, Yann and Manuel founded their own label, Zooland Records, which by now also encompasses two sublabels, ZooGroove for House/Electro releases and ZooDigital for digital-only releases, with All Around The World at Blackburn/UK being their most important international partner.

2006 : he featured vocalist Liz Kay on his single King of My Castle (a cover of Wamdue Project's hit).

In 2007 they created the RIO project along with rapper Neal Antone Dyer. In 2007 they were honoured by winning the World Music Award in Monte Carlo for Cascada being the best selling German artist. He released the solo singles A Girl Like You (with Mark Daviz) and Sun Is Shining.

2008 : he released a single entitled Children Of The Sun.

2009 : he released Brighter Day featuring Anita Davis.

Love Will (1996)
Now That I Found You (1998)
Love Is Calling (1998)
Can't Stop Thinkin About You (16th Aug 1999)

YBZ was is the result of a fusion between Brad Ferringo from The Yakoo Boyz and the singer/songwriter Cleo-Patra.

The first release from The Yakoo Boyz, Pipe Dreamz, entered at #5 on the singles chart in The Record in 1995. It went on to reach #16 in The Record's national chart for top selling Canadian singles from 1975-1995. For the singles which followed, the creative team of The Yakoo Boys, consisting of Brad Ferringo and John Grenn, used various female vocalists to record their songs. These songs went on to appear on numerous dance compilations with much success. Working towards a full-length album they decided to find a permanent vocalist to join the group. And so the search began… As for Cleo-Patra, she was native of Windsor, Ontario. Her first job in the big city of Toronto back in 1994 was recording the soundtrack to a movie biography on Madonna's life. Since then, she had released 4 singles under the Hi-Bias label, with a video for her first single Keep On Spinnin' DJ. With her own studio to work in, Cleo-Patra expanded her own library of songs, all the while developing further her songwriting and programming skills.

In the summer of 1997, both The Yakoo Boys and Cleo-Patra were on the same bill for one of the biggest concerts of the summer, bringing together some of the best dance artists from all over the world at the Molson Amphitheater for one massive eight hour show. After they met and had a chance to get to know a little more about each other's careers, they soon realized that they had similar tastes in music and similar goals for their own careers. Their collaborating began. The first release was the single Now That I Found You, followed by Love Is Calling. A full-length album was planned, but was never released.

Whole Lotta Fun (2001)
Happy Day (1st Aug 2007)
Super Duper Christmas (20th Nov 2008)

Yumm Yumm is the brainchild of songwriter/producer Nivek Tek. It is the zany duo of Sugar B. and Candy Wrapper. Yumm Yumm's unique sound combines the traditional Bubblegum sound of Dance acts like AQUA with the stronger Club feel of the popular Euro Trance movement. They recorded catchy Pop melodies such as Boom Boom Bang Bang and Ready Freddy, and nursery-rhyme like songs such as Happy Day.

Yumm Yumm describe themselves as a non-stop fun-filled journey into a virtual fantasy land set in a futuristic world of candy and based on simply having fun. Their cartoonish looks and wacky antics play host to a variety of different adventures and scenarios. One example is where our dynamic duo play super heroes to defend the magnificent cyber world in which they live, from the much-feared evil monster E-Villain, who threatens to become the dark ruler of cyberspace.

Yumm Yumm is an transcontinental collaborative effort between producers from the United States and Europe. Their very talented production team consists of Nivek Tek, Jeff Vincent, Donna Lori, Adam Edelmann, and Anna Clara. Their forthcoming debut LP, Whole Lotta Fun, contains tracks written in various styles and tempos, including a very crazy Christmas track. The members are Sugar B. (the vocalist), Candy Wrapper and E-Villain (Nivek Tek, the producer, composer, and songwriter).

Nivek has been involved in the music and Dance Music industry for many years as a songwriter, vocalist and producer. He has worked in various fields of the music industry such as; marketing, management, promotion and A&R. He has also acted as owner and publisher of Unique Magazine, a grassroots magazine covering the Club and Dance Music scenes. He now runs Dance Zone Productions for which he showcases some hot new European talent. Nivek also started Ultimate Vision Entertainment, where he acts as owner and artist manager to the hottest band from outer space Moonlife. He currently is writing, remixing and producing music in Sweden as well as the US, where he currently resides. He is one of the writers/producers for DJ Tantrum and Yumm Yumm. With many ideas and marketing concepts under his belt, Nivek plans to conquer the Dance Music world full force.

Bubblegum (1999)
Poppa Joe (Apr 2000)
Get Out Of My Face (2001)

Swedish bubblegum group Yummie started in 1997 in Haninge (near Stockholm, Sweden) with 4 four members : Mr. Young (real name : Thomas Walther), Zed (Songwriter, singer and producer Teddy Gustafsson, known for contributing to band Spot the difference in 1982), Maestro X (songwriter, keyboardist and producer Göran Florén who used to be a member of band Avalon in 1989) and Miss Qute (female singer Petra Garnås). Before being called Yummie, they were known as Bubblegum. Members explained the choice of their stage names : "our real names are so boring and way too hard for people around the globe to pronounce, so we sat down and thought that we should have some alias. We became thinking of the last letters in the alphabet (X,Y,Z and for no reason the letter Q) Q went to be Qute (Cute), Z became Zed and X became Maestro X, Y became Mr Young". They did not expect that much success : "this "project intended to be a fun thing for us in the first place, we never have the intention to be a world wide big band"

Some of the members had already worked together, since Petra Garnås, Göran Florén, and Thomas Walther were members of project Unit C in 1995. Following a performance at a local television station, they met Teddy Gustavsson.

First single Bubblegum was released in 1999 under label Stockhouse. A video was shot for the single. Next year came Poppa Joe (a cover of The Sweet in euro-reggae style) and their only studio album Sweet & Sour which was released in several countries, including Japan, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Poland (with a different sleeve) and the group's native Sweden.

Later, Yummie became a trio when Thomas Walther left the group. Third (and last so far) single was Get out of my face and seems to have been released only as promo. Song was written some years before their album release, it was among the members' favourite Yummie songs. Chorus was updated for the release and sound was rougher and harder than before. They also welcomed a new producer and a new engineer.

A demo videoclip had also been shot back in 1997 for song Hello, directed by Teddy Gustafsson

Project was working on a second album called Bar B Q, which never came out. The group split in 2001.

2009 : Yummie members announced that they are returning for their 10-year anniversary. They promised to release new and unreleased songs, as well as new mixes of existing songs.
