J & V is a Brazilian dance pop duo, formed by a brother and a sister called Jair and Vanise Santos, who are big eurodance fans. They recorded some very original eurodance songs in the 90s under the band name Friends Forever. Their songs have become a lot of rotations on the Brazilian radio stations and Youtube channel.
In 2012 they have signed to the german dance label DMN Records. Their first single Angel Of Love (originally recorded in 2007) was released under DMN Records with 4 new additional remixed version by Australian DJ Enfortro. In December, Experience Of Music made a remix in 2 versions for Angel Of Love. It will be part of a new remix package of the single called Experience Of Music and Naxwell Remixes, and release is expected in January.
A second single was planned, probably Don't Tell me Lies. It was actually a part of an EP entitled Back To The 90s and released in November 2012
2013 : a remix package for Angel Of Love was released in January, the same day as J & V's third single Feel the Rhythm. Then came their first album Brazilian Summer in May, then single Crazy For You in June.

2015 : their new single Walk Away was released in November. They started writing songs for a new studio album
2016 : a new single entitled Tell Me Why hit the stores on February. Next single was entitled I Just Wanna Dance.

Records company : Euphoric / Almighty records. This project (whose name is probably a tribute to Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis) features one female vocalist called Jill Saywood (aka Jill Saward, formerly Shakatak background vocalist during the 80s) and usually releases covers of famous pop hits in a very nice eurodance way.
When Jackie 'O' released her dance version of the Oasis hit Wonderwall in 1995, no one could have imagined just how popular that release would be. It got the ball rolling not only for the then new label Euphoric, but also for Jackie - from then on she has enjoyed a constant stream of success... Her second single, Breakfast At Tiffany's, pretty well matched her debut. With the sheer popularity of the Deep Blue Something’s original and with it being played regularly on the radio, Jackie's energetic version just took it to new heights in the clubs.
In the summer of 1997, the catchy and powerful Bitch was released and instantly became one of the most played pop covers of the year - it had enormous DJ support. A few months later came another Oasis re-working - Whatever. This euro-friendly arm waver proved that Miss O really was the Queen of "hard edged" NRG !
In 1998, after a year long break, Jackie returned with a monster of a track, a stunning, uplifting version of Eagle Eye Cherry’s smash hit Save Tonight. It became famous for appearing on the soundtrack to the Channel 4 cult hit 'Queer as Folk'. As with Save Tonight, this new track had an extra kick, had a tougher sound, was more uplifting than ever. Then came When You’re Gone, her remake of the Bryan Adams with Mel C song, with a 99 remix of Breakfast At Tiffany's as B-side. Recent singles included versions of two of Shania Twain’s big hits - That Don't Impress Me Much and Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You).
In 2000 too, Jackie O's first album was released. Entitled Bitch, it contained 11 tracks. Follow-up singles include Glorious, the Andreas Johnson hit and It's My Life, the Bon Jovi rock anthem. Summer of 2001 saw the release of Sing, a cover of the Travis hit and once again it topped the world's NRG club charts. There were three tracks on the CD. Two of them were the Radio Edit and the Club Mix. The third tune was the fast NRG Love Found Me.
In November 2002, Jackie O released her first single in over a year, a cover of the huge Shania Twain return single I'm Gonna Getcha Good.
2005 : Jackie O recorded a cover of Tori Alamaze Don't Cha.
2006 : Jackie O's next release was a cover of the Scissor Sisters' I Don’t Feel Like Dancin'.
2007 : A new album called Handbag Heaven was released in October. It included not less than 4 CDs and all the most recent Jackie 'O' songs, 5 of them being released the very same day, under Euphoric label, that Almighty had re-open after 5 long years of being defunct.

Jacynthe (real name : Jacynthe Millette-Bilodeau) is a Canadian artist who sings in French, English and Italian. Born September 13th, 1979 and raised in Quebec, she began to sing at the age of 3 and wrote her first song when she was only 7. Her Mum was a nurse, so was her aunt, she also had some doctors in her family. However everyone in her family had a deep love for music.
For over a year, Jacynthe has also sung the national anthems at all "Montreal Impact" soccer games. She spent also three years as the soloist of a gospel choir. She was introduced to her current producer Paul Galati as she was still at school. She writes herself the major part of her songs. She worked with the most well-known composers, such as Carlsson and Elofsson, or Desmond Child, who also wrote for stars such as Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez. Jacynthe also took part to a collective project called 5Xnon (together with artists like Venus 3 or Groovy Aardvack), a rock opera to fight against violence to women.
Her 2 best singles are definitively This Is The Night and Try My Love (including a B-side called (B side If You Leave Me Now). It was actually the first single she recorded and released when she was 16. It had a huge success on the dancefloors in Quebec. Sadly for eurodance fans, she changed afterwards to more pop-oriented musical trends...
1997 : Jacynthe did backing vocals on the single Vai Vai Vai (Eo Chan) by Fruit De La Passion. She also did vocals on Sherie M. - What's Your Sign which is also known under title Tell Me. She probably also contributed to UDS Boys - You Oughta Know and Funtastik - Good Times.
In the fall of 2003, Universal Music launched her fourth album Seize the Day, produced by Tino Izzo whose credits include working with Roch Voisine, Mario Pelchat, France D’Amour and Celine Dion. We found a more vocally mature Jacynthe with an organic musical feel, centered on guitars and filled with new sounds generated by blending rock and electronica. This amazing first single, a highly polished gem titled Look Who’s Crying Now, marked this musical evolution.
In 2005, Jacynthe co-starred in a very successful French TV show across Canada called “La vie rurale” (French adaptation of the Simple Life starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie). The Americans took notice and she was invited to New York to appear on Access Hollywood and Inside Edition.
In 2006, Jacynthe addeds her energy and her powerful voice while on a US tour from January 2006 to December 2006, taking her to every major city in the United States for Cirque du Soleil’s musical extravaganza, “Delirium”.
In November 2007, Jacynthe lived out a special experience with the foundation “Dreams Take Flight/Voyage De Rêves”. Each year, employees of Air Canada become volunteers and organize a day trip to Disney World in Florida with approximately 150 children coming from everywhere in Quebec who are physically, mentally or socially challenged children. It is a voyage that lasts one full day of which is a dream trip for the children. Jacynthe was invited and was honored to take part as a special guest along with the dedicated doctors, nurses and all others which are also invited as volunteers. This is truly the trip of a lifetime for these special children!
She went back to studio writing new songs for her fifth album to be released in 2008. Her first single and her album were planned to be entitled Handle Myself.
2008 : Jacynthe attend MIDEM in Cannes (France) with her manager on January 24th, 2008 to promote her new record.
In January of 2009, Jacynthe spent a week in Italy and recorded two songs with Italian artist Alessandro Ristori (from Don’t Worry Records, owned by Rolando D’Angeli) shot a video for These Boots Are Made For Walking, 2 photo shoots and a show as a featured guest with Alessandro for a live DVD that will be released in Italy. The video of These Boots Are Made For Walking were planned to be released in Italy this Fall and then in Russia and Japan.
2010 : she performed as support act for Kate Ryan during her Canadian tour. In February, she released a cover of the song L'Espion (originally sung by Michel Pagliaro). In September, she released a new single entitled Don't Touch Those Faders.
2011 : Jacynthe's new single is entitled Dévoile Qui Tu Es / Everytime.
2012 : she was featured on the French version of Victoria Duffield's single Feel and this version is #1 in the Top 25 francophone
2013 : Jacynthe's new single was entitled Locked Down and was released on January 14th. in April, Jacynthe announced that she was pregnant. She gave birth to a baby girl called Gemma on September. Her new album Music To The Sound was out in December.
2014 : Jacynthe's new single Born to Love You was released in March.
2015 : in December, she gave birth to a second baby girl called Nina. Jacynthe writes music for other artists, such as newcomer Angelike. She did a pause to care about her children.

Jam & Spoon, a dance/techno project from Frankfurt/Germany, is a collaboration of Jam El Mar and Mark Spoon. In 1992 Jam & Spoon released their first EP named Tales From A Danceographic Ocean, containing the massive European club hit Stella. A bit later their remix The Age Of Love became a classic and one of the best sold remixes in techno history.
After this the double album Tripomatic Fairytales 2001 & 2002 and the single Right In The Night (based on a music of the classical compositor Isaac Albiniz, and featuring Plavka's voice singing lyrics by Nosie Katzmann) entered the charts world-wide in 1993. It reached # 10 in Israel and also # 10 in the UK for the 1995 re-release. In August it was in the Top 3 of the US Club play chart for the second week. Plavka undertook an extended promotional trip to Canada, playing live on Electronic Circus, Canada's biggest music TV show. In Autumn 1994, Plavka toured through Italy, Finland, Germany and Lithuania, performed in France on Dance Machine in front of 17,000 people.
The follow-up Find Me, still using Plavka's voice, was # 9 in Israel and # 24 in the UK.
In November-December, the group was nominated for Best European Dance Act at the first ever made MTV Europe Awards. In the same style came Angel in 1995, which was # 16 in Israel, and entered top 40 in UK. The very violent video was broadcast censored on MTV and uncensored on VIVA but not in high rotation anyway.
The following singles were unfortunately very far from Eurodance. El Baile (which means "the dance") is a kind of progressive dreamhouse track, with Spanish vocals.
More recently they realeased a single in collaboration with Giorgio Morodor : The Chase.
Jam & Spoon are also behind 2 other big projects. The first was Tokyo Ghetto Pussy in 1995 who released many tracks such as the big hit I Kiss Your Lips and an album entitled Disco 2001. Later in 1998 they created the project Storm. Their first single, also called Storm, was a clubhit in Europe. In 2000 Storm knew succes again with the big hit Time To Burn. Their latest release is entitled Storm Animal. In the video of the single you can see Jam & Spoon themselves a few times. They released an album entitled StormJunkie. They also made a new version of their classic anthem Storm.
Beneath their own releases Jam & Spoon are also well known for their remixes for artists like Dr Alban, Quincy Jones, Moby, Enigma, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Pet Shop Boys, Yello, New, Order, Queen, Simple Minds and many, many others. In 1994 they received the 'best remixers of the year' award from the UK Mixmag magazine.
2001 : Jam & Spoon are back : the song Be Angeled will be released on April 30th. It was as usual written by Nosie Katzmann.
2003 : Jam & Spoon will release their new single Cynical Heart in December. It features the voice of ex Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr and unfortunately it's not eurodance.
2004 : After several delays the new album from Jam & Spoon, Tripomatic Fairytales 3003, was finally released on June 21st. The album contained 15 tracks and includes several known vocalists (Plavka, Xavier Naidoo, Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries, Rea from Reamonn and Jim Kerr from The Simple Minds).
Next single announced was entitled Set Me Free (feat. Rea). Set Me Free was used in the original motion soundtrack of the movie Lautlos. In September, the new Jam & Spoon single was out. Entitled Butterfly Sign, it featured the voice of Plavka, back again... It entered the German charts at #67 and the German official dance chart at #40, and went #2 in Czech Republic.
2005 - Onyx released a cover of Jam & Spoon's Right In The Night
2006 - On the 11th January, Mark Spoon was found dead in his apartment. The cause of death is assumed to be a heart attack, closer circumstances are unknown. New from Jam & Spoon, a double album entitled Remixes And Club Classics.
2007 - Jam & Spoon released 2 vinyls entitled Club Classics 1 and 2.
2008 - Right In The Night was covered by Whigfield.
Other tracks released by the Jam and Spoon team :
Tokyo Ghetto Pussy : Everybody On The Floor (Pump It) (1994), I Kiss

He also contributing to the musical team behind The David Fascher Project feat. La Sherie Chambers - Keep On Movin' And Groovin'

James Allan Giscombe was born in Manchester (England) from Jamaican parents. He used to be a research scientist an engineer. This multitalented artist worked as dancer, model rapper, singer, dance & show choreographer, international dance & fitness presenter, TV and show presenter. This is how he worked as main dancer and choreographer for Fragma. He also danced for Ann Lee in 1999, Warp Brothers in 2001, Amanda Lear, Liquid Dance, Dance Nation, Orion Too in 2002, Digital Rockers and In-Grid in 2003. Then he entered the 2 Unlimited team in 2003.
"One thing I have to say is that when I was asked to do this I turned it down 4 times because I was hesitant about stepping into Ray's shoes, and because I come in more as a singer than a rapper. Plus I have a solo project that is singing and rapping which we are trying to promote. In addition I was not sure that we really needed to just repeat the songs from the early 90's. I do not want 2 Unlimited fans to think that I want to just use Ray and Anita's success. I too was disappointed that they did not want to continue themselves. We have not met them and would love to" he explains.
"Then they told me I would work with Debora. We met each other singing together in a Gospel choir on tour in USA about 4 years ago. (She is alto, I was then singing Tenor, though I am a baritone Bass). She is one of the most professional people, a truly great person and always cheerful, that was a big reason I agreed to join 2 Unlimited. Plus the agreement that I would be able to continue with my solo work. So that is how I got into this" he continues.
He appeared for the first time in the clip of No Limit 2.3, released in 2003. But the rap was still Ray's voice...
In 2004, James left the group after the release of Tribal Dance 2.4. He explained he was fed up rapping playback on Ray's voice. In December, he was featured on Street Hi-Fi's track Women, Cars, Ca$h, available on the Dirty Weekend EP .
Recently, James could have recorded a duet with Damae, Fragma's vocalist. He also released a solo-single entitled U Can Light My Love, along with a videoclip.
2006: James released an album entitled Lounge Erotico in 2006, a chill-out album with Producer Tato Gomez, one of Germany's most repected producers.
2008 : Debora and James keep on touring under the scene name 2 Unlimited, without having any rights to do it. In August, they did a show for RadioK in Ploeisti, Romania. It was a playback appearance, however, since they forgot to turn their mike off, one could hear James rapping with his real voice...
James explains that they "have continued to credit the work of JP DeCosta as owner or the name and, Ray and Anita for the 2 Unlimited music in the 90's. Do tribute shows as a result as their time as official members of the band 2 Unlimited.". He says that they "have given many interviews to answer the many slurs on thier name. The have stated that they have always drawn everyones attention to the fact that they where asked to join the group 2Unlimited." James says that his "initial reluctance was because of wishing not to deal exactly the reactions he has gotten after tributing a group and producer he has always respected. He thinks it is sad that though all people have enjoyed the shows, this negativity about great music has come about. Both James continues to work in the music business sucessfully in many projects as Manager, Choreographer, musician, producers and perfomers. Debora continues to work as a well respected dancer and performer in the music business."
2010 : Debora and James released their first single Not Just A Game under the project name Never2Loud featuring Pelé. Pelé is Débora's uncle. The track was an anthem for soccer World Championship.
2011 : James Allan organizes music management courses and seminars in Heinrich-Heine Universität, Dusseldorf (Germany).
2012 : he released solo single U Can Light My Love on DMN Records. A videoclip for this song had already been released almost 3 years ago.
He sometimes tours as rapper and dancer for E-rotic

Melvina studied untill the age of 16 and got a basic GSEs. Her great passion for dance lead her to audition for a dance troop at the Pineapple studios at the age of 20. She ended up in Italy on a 3 months contract which than gave her the possibility to audition for Italian television. She worked with Canale 5, Rete 4 and Italia 1 for nearly two years, dancing and also presenting the competitors for various shows. This led her then to meet the producer who helped her record her first song. She's been singing and talking, doing voice overs, translating, teaching and doing phonetics for Italian students ever since.
Her voice over experience started when Melvina was back in England around 1994. She was given the opportunity to record a small advert for a recording company in Leicester. She has done voice overs for the Vallemania studios in Italy for various ads. She ended #2 in the Staletite D'oro for her first singing competition, which meant writing and composing her own song. This then took her on to other recording studios for adverts and theatre work. She wrote lyrics for Morissa Power Of Love (and could also have sung them...) and released a solo single entitled Bad Love under the name Mel James.

Project Jerror was founded in 1991 by Russian producer Alexander Merkel (Александр Меркел) and features members Marlin Kalenda (vocals) and Sasha Pino (raps). In Russia, they played songs of their compositions as well as covers in weddings, concerts and discos. They started to gain popularity in their home country as well as among Russians living in Germany, where they finally established in 1993. They were at first known as Errorr, then as Studio Jerorr.
Their only single was a song in the Mo-Do style entitled Es Geht Los, released in 1994 under alias Errorr under A-Fair Records. It featured Jerorr kids and DJ K and had some success in Germany. Then they released a first album entitled Play in 1994, written by Yahia Turk and Alexander Merkel, which was initally a commercial failure, but became more and popular through the years.
Then in 1997 came Заграница, their first album in Russian, about life of Russian immigrants in Germany. It featured vocals by Lora Harder, Irina Merkel, Valentin Machleid and Alexander Merkel.
Project split up, and when in 1998 Заграница 2 was released, only Alexander and Irina Merkel remained. Заграница 3 was the most popular album of the series. Then in 2000 Alexander Merkel decided to stay solo, and released Заграница 4.
A 5th Заграница was planned.
Alexander Merkel created Jerorr Music Studio and produced young artists and projects, such as Scrash.

Jessica Jay was a project produced by Giuseppe, Lino and Rossana Nicolosi for S.A.I.F.A.M. Publishing Group.
According to her officiel biography, Jessica was born and raised in an upper middle class musical family in Europe. She's been interested in music and singing from early childhood. At the age of 17, she started singing in clubs in her area, with several bands. She perfected her vocal technique and began working as a vocalist for many recording studios, recording more than 100 songs. However, she never thought that one of them would become successful somewhere in Asia. After recording Broken Hearted Woman, she moved to Russia with her family and gave a priority to her study. "I still sang with my friends but recording a song was nowhere near possible". Right after graduation, Jessica Jay was back in music business : "I was so glad to be able to sing again, to be able to do what I love again after all these 6 years. And I don't think that the absence should bring about any problem". Jessica Jay loves to listen to all kind of music, especially funky, pop and jazz. Her favourite singers are Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Liza Minelli, Barbara Streisand, Natalie Cole and Al Jarreau. She also likes group such as Incognito, U2 and Tears for Fears.
Reality is a little bit more complex. Between 1995 and 1996, the vocalist of this project was Dora Carofiglio. She contributed to first album Broken Hearted Woman, a euro-reggae album. Only one single was released, other songs were only published on compilations. Emanuela Berti contributed to one song : Kiss And Say Goodbye
Second album Chilly Cha Cha - The Album featured an unknown Italian singer (often used by SAIFAM) and a British singer, who was also a background vocalist for The Spice Girls.
First single Broken Hearted Woman became on of the biggest song of 1993, selling 1 million copies alone in Thailand and more than 500,000 copies in Asia. 30 local artists doing cover version of the song in Thai.
In 1998, Jessica Jay released her second studio album Chilly Cha Cha - The Album.
2007 : Jessica Jay was back with a new album called My Heart Is Back. Melody Castellari recently confirmed that she sung vocals on this album.

Jessy De Smet was born the 8th of July 1976 in Zottegem, from a couple of musicians. She released her first single in 1985 as she was only 8, a duet with Willy Sommers. About a year and a half later, Marijn De Valck, who lived in the same town as Jessy, asked her to record a song called Vang het licht (catch the light). All the money earned with this song, was donated to the Belgian Federation of Autism. In the meanwhile Jessy's parents started their own band, "Jennifer Band" in which Jessy started singing at the age of 12.
But her big breakthrough came 10 years later, as the leadsinger of the Mackenzie (Jean-Pierre Fasseau and Stéphane Akenan). The first single I am free turned out to be a big clubhit. Followed hits such as Innocence, All I Need and Alive. They won a Belgian TMF Award for Best Album of 1999 with Angel.
2002 : she contributed to a mix of DJ Sammy's The Boys Of Summer.
In 2003, she decided to make a pause, doing guest performances in a coverband called Made In Belgium. Then she started her solo carreer, produced by Regi Penxten and Filip Vandueren.
2005 : she was featured on My Star with producers Kurt Verheyen and Steven Vanvaeck, but the single had moderate success.
2006 : a bootleg of her ballad Dancing In The Dark became huge in the UK. Many DJs were looking for it, so Jessy and DJ Micky Modelle made an official remix that climbed the charts in the northern summer. The follow-up Over You, a remix of another Jessy track I'll Get Over You by Micky Modelle, reached the top 40 in the UK. The smae year, The Mackenzie released an Innocence Reworks 2006.
2008 : Jessy recorded a duet with Linda from Milk Inc entitled Getting Out.
2009 : Jessy released a new song with Michael Beltran called Can't Get Enough. She will be featured on Sash!'s new single All Is Love, expected for release at the beginning of 2010.
2011 : Jessy recorded a single with DJ Rebel entitled Think About The Way 2011, a cover of Ice MC's hit. On November 25th she released a best of album entitled The Ultimate Jessy. It included all Jessy's biggest hits and collaborations, plus 4 unreleased tracks.
2012 : on March 4th Jessy released the 2012 version of her hit Innocence, a duet with Abie Flinstone. In July, a new single entitled Impossible featuring Ian Prada followed.
2013 : in February, every evening of the week, Jessy and Isabelle A performed a live 90s mash-up on Belgian radio station Qmusic. Her new single wass entitled Nothing At All.

Disco and hi-NRG diva Uchenna Ikejiani was born in Nigeria to an Igbo family. She moved from Nigeria to Montreal, Canada in the mid-1970s to study at Concordia University. In autumn 1977 she auditioned to appear on Joe La Greca's album Montreal. In early 1978 she recorded two tracks for the project, If You Believe In Me and Higher And Higher. These were released on an EP, with her credited under her birth name. Glenn LaRusso of Salsoul Records convinced her to shorten her name from Uchenna Ikejiani to Carol Jiani to make it easier for North Americans to pronounce.
In 1980 Jiani recorded two songs written by Sandy Wilbur with La Greca : Hit N Run Lover and All The People Of The World. Hit N Run Lover was remixed by San Francisco-based Moby Dick Records for their Gold Standard imprint and would become her signature song, peaking at #4 on the US Billboard Club Play Singles chart in 1981. On the heels Hit N' Run Lover's success Matra Records commissioned a complete album, also titled Hit N' Run Lover. The Woman In Me was the album's second single but its B-side, the uptempo Mercy written by Pete Bellotte and Sylvester Levay which featured off-key horns, exceeded the A-side in popularity among DJs becoming another hit for Jiani. Mercy, the only track on the album not composed by Sandy Wilbur, was recorded earlier by Judy Cheeks. A follow-up album, Ask Me was released the next year generating the singles Ask Me, X-Rated, and You're Gonna Lose My Love. In 1982 Jiani recorded vocals for Get Up and Do It Again for project Suzy Q. The song was a hit, but her contract prevented her from performing as Suzy Q. Get on Up and Do it Again was re-recorded by "Mizz" lead singer Michelle Mills.
In 1983 Jiani moved to England and signed with Record Shack to record Vanity with producer Ian Levine. Barbara Pennington had previously recorded the track but declined to release it in order to focus exclusively on soul music. Vanity, released in 1985, was a hit reaching #1 on the UK Hi-NRG Club chart. She released album Dancing In The Rain, a vinyl compilation of various songs previously released on Canadian and European 12" singles. Levine secured her a deal with MCA records, and she released Such A Joy Honey. According to Levine, Turning My Back And Walking Away was to have been her second single for MCA until she was dropped from the label. MCA gave the recording to Levine and the single was quickly released by his Nightmare Records label in 1987. Levine and Jiani went on to produce a full album for Hot Records, The Best of Carol Jiani, featuring a re-recording of Hit N' Run Lover as well as brand new material.
In 1994 she released the very nice eurodance single I Didn't Know. It was written by French team Beat Paul, Franklin Fischer and Rémy "Fab" Philly. The Venetian remixes were made by C. Claudio Mingardi, Gianluca Vivaldi and Riccardo Salani, hence the distinctive DWA records sound. She returned to Canada to again work with Joe La Greca on her 1996 album. Superstar produced two singles, Come and Get Your Love and Superstar. This house song was described as a scolding and critique of Michael Jackson and his child molestation charges.
After Superstar, Carol released few recordings until the late 2000s, when she made another comeback by working with contemporary dance music producers like Laurent Pautrat and Mondo. She also reunited with Ian Levine to provide vocals on the track Work My Fingers to the Bone for his album Northern Soul 2007. Levine and Jiani also recorded a cover of France Joli's Come To Me.
In early 2008, Carol recorded new tracks with producers Chris Richards & Peter Wilson. One of the first songs to emerge, I Don't Wanna Talk About Love, was included on the Klone Records' compilation Mad About The Boy 16.
2010 : in May, Broken, Carol Jiani's collaboration with Jimmy D Robinson, peaked at #9 on Music Week's UK Upfront Club chart.
2011 : she released single No More
2015 : Carol did vocals on Jason Parker Meets Naxwell's cover of Hold That Sucker Down.

Jinny was a project created by producers Alessandro Gilardi, Walter Cremonini and Claudio Varola. Frontlady was Carryl Varley. Project featured various vocalists : Debbie French, Sandy Chambers and Lyv McQueen.
Jinny first single was entitled I Need Your Love and it was released under the label Italian Style. It used a sample from Nayobe It's Too Late.
In April 1991 dance-operators all over the world had to turn their attention to the new release of the hit-single Keep Warm by Jinny. Single sampled vocals from Voices in the Dark's Keep It Warm (with authorization from label New Yorker Next Plateau which owned the rights). Reviewed by the biggest magazines in the field, Jinny was the only Italian artist, apart from the Black Box, that succeeded in entering the glorious American Hot 100 of the Billboard, on the 14th September 1991. An achievement that very few has obtained in the history of Italian dance music. Furthermore, as a very unusual case, Keep Warm was being played by several American radio networks such as Hot 97 N.Y., Kmeljams San Francisco, Power 106 Los Angeles, B96 Chicago, definitely inserting itself at the 13th position of Billboard's Hot Dance and at the 17th position of Billboard's 12 singles-sales.
Jinny was acquired for the entire American territory by Next Plateau, one of the leading independent dance labels of that period and owner on the sample used in the record. The situation in the U.K. was not very different : Keep Warm, licensed by Virgin became successful in the English clubs, quickly reaching the 12th position of the Record Mirror's Club Chart and collecting several reviews on all biggest English headings, Music Week, Echoes, Mix Mag and so on. With the '95 remixes made by Alex Party, T-empo and Blue Peter, Jinny climbed the U.K. sales charts reaching the 11th position. Videoclip was shot starring model and TV-host Carryl Varley.
In 1992 Jinny published the follow-up Never Give Up, performed by Debbie French, as always written and arranged by the trio Cremonini-Gilardi-Varola, as it was for Keep Warm. With the second single of Jinny released on TIME label, Never Give Up entered the U.K. club charts and differently from Keep Warm which was not promoted enough in its home country, it obtained a very good success also in Italy.
Feel The Rhythm was the third single of Jinny which, with the single Open Your mind had entered the top ten dance and sales charts all over Europe.
1994 was a decisive turning point for the artist due to the success reached with One More Time that had rapidly climbed the official Italian sales charts. During that year Jinny released another hit single, Wanna Be With You that entered the Italian charts. This time, it featured the voice of Sandy Chambers.
At the same time in UK under the label Telstar/Multiply remixed versions of the single Keep Warm were released. The remixers were Alex Party and the T-Empo's. this proves to be a winning project ant enters the official UK sales charts, also supported by a good video.
Thanks to the fame reached by Keep Warm, Carryl Varley was considering an offer made by some UK television networks in order to present an important national program.
In her private life, she was said to be dating club DJ Tom Woods after meeting him during the Jinny's clubs tour. The romance lasted about a year before Carryl ended it due to Tom been seen out with Kelly Overett from Cappella.
2004 : Caryl Varley is still working for the UK television. She was spotted on the channels Challenge and NTL Channel.2009 : Jinny is back. Lyv McQueen performs live in discotheque, singing the project's biggest hits.

Label : X-energy. Producers : Davide Riva, A.Pignagnoli. JK was fronted by model Marta Simlat. Marta began singing in her native Krakow when she was still at school. She sang in a rock trio called Tino's Band. The name of JK was chosen by chance. "We were looking for something short, easy to say and something that was catchy. JK it's easy for people to remember" explains Marta.
The first single You Make Me Feel Good was a chart success in Europe and Canada. The chorus was covered in 1994 by JV Project, in their single Feel Allright. After that Marta became a part of the group and the singles Beat It and the classic Italo track You and I were released (thanks to the success of You and I in France her photo was on the cover of the Dance Machine 6 compilation) with many beautiful remixes. You and I peaked # 3 in Israel. In 1996 the track My Radio was released. The vocalist's voice seemed to be different, whereas Marta remained the official frontlady. The maxi contained a disco version, but also a great euro version. It took Europe by storm and opened the Japanese market for the artist. Afterwards an explosive Megamix was released.
According to rumors, Marta did not sing on any JK releases. Famous vocalists Jenny Bersola and Sandy Chambers were thought to have taken part to the project, though they were not credited. Annerley Gordon contributed to songwriting, her name is mentioned in the credits of Sweet Lady Night.
After the song Sweet Lady Night, which was accompanied by a sizzling video, we did not hear anything from J.K. until 1998, when the song Go On was released. Zeetah Massiah did vocals on Sweet Lady Night. Vocalist on Go On is still unknown so far.
Then a year after she came back with Deep In The Night. In a Canadian interview, Marta told an album was planned afterwards.
Marta described herself as a reliable and a perfectionist person, as well as being a little lazy and vain ! She likes cinema, cats, chocolate mousse and her Italian boyfriend.
2001 : JK came back with a new single called Make Me Feel.
2002 : a new single called Hit My Heart was released but it was not very succesful. You & I was re-released under the Spanish label Wanchu Music.
2004 : Hit My Heart was covered by the Benassi Bros feat Dhany and it was this time a big hit. You & I was covered by the project Maximum Lush.
2005 : new single of Benassi Bros feat Dhany was once again a remake of a single by JK single. This time, it was Make Me Feel.

JLM (means Just Love Music) was a Canadian project created in 1992 by twins Jean and Clode Perruno. They finally found their female vocalist, Shantal Maure from Montreal, and also hired a rapper. They released 2 superb Eurodance tracks : Come Into My Life and Groovy Beat, followed by a (very hard to find) album. Come Into My Life, was top 10 in many European countries and #1 on Much Music / Musique Plus in Canada. They were nominated twice at the Juno Awards and Much Music Video Awards. The single was released in more than 40 countries and on more than 60 CD compilations. They were initially signed under a Belgian label and produced by Peter Neefs.
Don't You Want My Love which was the third single to be released was a rather low-tempo track. It was released under Sony Music Canada. But, just after it was released, JLM sued Sony. So they stopped overnight promoting the album. For some, Captivate Me was never released as single. For others, it was only released in Germany.
2007 : JLM are back ! Their brand new single Lift Me Up, a very nice trancy track featuring Ariel, was released. They were signed through an international licensing company to the most important major and independant labels in more than 90 countries. The single entered #12 in the top 40 Dance charts in Spain in it's first week.
Shantal Moore should be coming back in the group to record new tracks. Lift Me Up should be remixed with a "more commercial beat" and re-released later. But before, Claude and Jean would like to release 2 other tracks.
2008 : JLM's new single was entitled Heaven Away, and Shantal Moore was officially back. They signed under ToCo International but coul not go on since they had to produce everything themselves.

John The Whistler is the project of one man : Umberto Carli. Umberto was born in Africa during the 60s. Legend says it was the first time that they heard a baby whistling in the jungle! Suffering the heat of the country and doubting the mental health of their son, Umberto's parents flew back to Belgium after a while. Everything seemed to be OK until Umberto entered elementary school. One day, his teacher called Madame Simone was rushed in to a psychiatric clinic for nervous breakdown. The only think she has been able to say ever since is: "stop him whistling"... Legend also says that, at the age of 18, Umberto was fired from the army. The reason : making sonic trouble in the squad.
The Umberto started a musical carreer. In 1994, he wrote lyrics for Beckie Bell's single In The Name Of Love. He began to spread his demos among record companies. The answer was always the same: great melodies but where are the lyrics ? So, Umberto decided to use words in his songs. However, he put a little whistling in them...
After having charted in Denmark, Norway (#5) Germany and Israel with his first single tiltled I'm In Love, John proudly presented his new hitsingle Tell Me. A computer-generated character appeared in the music videos, singing along to the songs. An album was also released under Edel Records. Axel Breitung took part to 3 tracks as producer and remixer : She's My Girl, It's Crazy and Wild Wild Web.
2005 : Fabrizio Faniello, the Maltese representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001, did a cover of I'm In Love.
2006 : Umberto Carli competed to be selected to represent Cyprus at Eurovision Song Contest 2006.

The two tracks are two eurodance remakes of famous songs, I Say A Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin and How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees. Twice are very powerful, giving value to the excellent voice of the singer.
The first track met a little success in Italy, UK and in France where it reached the 23rd place in club charts (released under Happy Music). It included a B-side called I Still Believe In Love. The second single (released in France under Panic Records) was less successful.

Lavinia Jones comes from South Africa. She was born on the 17th August 1973 in Johannesburg. As a young girl, it had always been one of Lavinia's greatest wishes to become a famous poet. She moved to Munich in 1987 with her family. Apart from being a singer, whe also worked as a model and a TV-moderator. She speaks English, Italian and French.
Sing It To You (Dee-Doob-Dee-Doo) was produced by Andy Knote, written by Jo Mersmann and Andy Knote. It was published by Toyco Music / Siegel, released in 1994 under Virgin Schallplatten GmbH, after 5 years searching for the right producer to release the track.
In the film homage "Es soll rote Rosen regnen" of the German legend Hildegard Knef, Lavinia performed a duet with the diva of The lady is a tramp / Eine Dame werd ich nie, an old classic by Cole Porter
In November and December 1997, Lavinia went back to Africa. She travelled through Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana to present a documentary about these countries and their people for N-TV. One month later, she was in Australia, still for her documentary.
Towards the end of the 90s, there was a little infringement in her career and she decided to take some time out, pursuing her musical development at the beginning of 2002. This is how she met Philipp Peltz ("Skizzo Franick") und Adam Szabo ("Ant on Wax")

Heart And Soul (1992)
Boy From New York City (17th May 1992)
Born 1972 in a very spiritual family who were told their girl would be a star, she had to spend her childhood learning to sing, dance and act. She attended the June Sandbrook School of Ballet (where she did her first experience on stage, at the age of 5), the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Barbara Speake Stage School. She appeared on children TV programs at the age of 10, and did an advert for Pepsi as she was only 13.
As she was jobless, Allison was brought by her dad to That's Life 'Search For A Star' competition in 1992 when she was 19. She won, beating over 2,000 other singers and performing live on BBC TV a number of times to finally win in the final with over 40,000 votes. She signed a record deal with BMG to work with producers Nigel Wright and Simon Cowell, and debut release Boy From New York City reached #21 in the UK charts... She had a short (and secret till he revealed it) love affair with Simon Cowell. She parted company with BMG soon after (or she was dropped by them because they judged that her first single was not succesful enough) and in the last year or so has been doing some modelling, as well as working as a care assistant... Her second single Heart And Soul was financed by her dad. She is described as bubbly, energetic and unstoppably keen. She modelled for a Playstation promotion campaign in Italy in the role of Lara Croft, and for the Ford Fiesta
After a casting, she became the frontlady and female vocalist of Cappella between 1995 and 1998
After she left Cappella, she went back to England, broke, and worked as a model during some time. Then she retired from the musical business to care about her 2 children.
She became editor of the Paranormal magazine, that she ran herself. She herself strongly believes in paranormal phenomenons. In 2005 she started working on her first screenplay. Later, she married relationship coach Stephen Hedger. Under the name Cloé Hedger, she does tarot cards reading (she recalls she already did tarot as she was on tour as a member of Cappella, reading tarot for her backing dancers).

Female vocalist Jennifer Jordan was born in Houston, Texas (USA). She started singing in a choir. A few years later, she became chorist in Feo Y Loco band, where her biological father (thant she met by chance) played as a bassist. She then left college to settle in Paris where she replaced the singer of the jazz-pop group The Speak Easy, which performed at the famous club Blue Note in Montmartre.
In 1994, she became the voice and face of project Cherry Moon. She recorded the single Take It Easy and Everybody Get Down. But then she sued the project's producers because she believed her contract was unfair. She also co-wrote D-Lies' single Lies.
In 1996, as dream music had gained popularity, she released Flying Over The Sun as solo single. Then she wanted to make a music that feels more like her. She began working with Viché de Vince to form alternative pop-rock band Mary Modified. The result was a studio album self-released in 2005, containing 4 tracks produced by French pop artist Jean-Patrick Capdevielle. One of the songs, It Could Have Been Me, was used as the soundtrack for the La Ligne Noire miniseries, broadcasted on French TV channel M6.
2007 : Jennifer did vocals on Jean-Patrick Capdevielle's song Mal de Chien which appears on his album Hérétique. Even if Mary Modified split, its members remained friends and keep on collaborating on various projects.
Jennifer also recorded demos and jingles for TV, cinema and commercials for brands like Bouygues Bâtiment International and Dior. She also composes songs and lyrics for other artists. Some of the songs she co-wrote were used in French movies (Voyez Comme On Danse, Razzia) and TV shows. She still lives in Paris.

Real name : Sven Kirschner. Also known as Sven "DELgado" Jordan or Kevin Estevez.
Sven grew up "in the middle of nowhere" as he himself explains, and did spend most of his time by playing tennis. At the age of 17 he discovered he wanted to live his passion for music by entering the music business. He started working with a friend called Alex Strasser (later more well-known as Alex Trime) who had a little home recording studio. But the first productions did not have any success...
After finishing school he followed some friends of his and moved for 2 summer seasons to Ibiza where he worked as a promoter in clubs. This is how he could meet the right people. A tour promotion finally agency accepted to give him a chance and offered him to become the road manager for acts such as 2 Unlimited, Snap, Rozalla, Dr Alban, Ace of Base and many more. He met Johnny Wright, who worked at that time as Turbo B's manager. So when Turbo left Snap, he asked him to rap on a track that he had produced together with Gary Carolla and Alex Strasser. Turbo liked the track and threw his raps on it : Centory was born. Then the track was presented and accepted to some EMI/Capitol A&R people Sven had met on tour, 4 other singles and an album followed. Sven also stood behind the projects Sly and Steel, he also remixed songs for Cerrone, DJ Bobo and Haddaway
Later on, Sven started working with WEG Music, Johnny Wright's company, managing artists such as Janet Jackson or the Backstreet Boys. Then in 2000 he returned to Ibiza to host with some partners Lovemania, their series of events at the El Divino. He also mananged the German house DJ Tonka for more than 2 years, and also worked for top DJs such as Moguai. He worked for the labels Positiva and Time Records among others.
2004 : with Alex Trime, he wrote 2 songs for Thomas Anders.

Just Friends are Daniel Höferlin, Denise Zich, Matthias Fuchs and Sabine Manke. They released many singles, 2 albums and one Best of compilation.
The group played in the German TV soap Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten (Good Times Bad Times). In 1995, a song contest was organized between the different actors of the soap. Their competitors were the group Chak (Ch.arly, A.ndy and K.im, 3 other actors of the soap). Chak recorded a eurodance song aswell, called Summer Party. But Just Friends finally won the contest. This is how everything began. After this, they appeared in the TV soap everytime they released a new single.
In Summer 1996 Denise left the group. She started a solo-carreer as actress in some other TV soaps and presented Pumuckl TV, a kid show. She was replaced by another female vocalist Jessica. Matthias later also was replaced by Fares, who looks close to Matthias. Maybe because they took part to the soap and so Fares could also replace Matthias there. When Jessica replaced Denise, she was introduced in the soap as a new character (the cousine of Andy who took part to Chak).
On their 2 albums, they worked many different people, among them Lutz Fahrenkrog-Pertersen, Peter Wagner, Florian Richter, Marc Lennard, Martin de Vries and Roland Götz, who wrote most of their songs on both albums. Among them, you can also names which will sound familiar to eurodance fans, like N-Dee and Frank Lio (3-O-Matic), who wrote the track Take My Heart.
The band members wrote on many tracks of their 2nd album too. On their solo tracks on Friends Forever the members wrote for the first time on own tracks, only Denise didn't wrote herself, her track was written by Florian Richter, Marc Lennard and Roland Götz. But on the other solo tracks you also see in the credits the names Daniel Höferlin, Matthias Fuchs and Sabine Manke.
The last time Just Friends appeared in Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten was for their last single Take My Heart in 1998.

Just Luis was born in Wollongong, Australia in the 60s, but he came to Spain in the middle 80s as he was a child. He started his career in 1992 recording some songs with the producer Andy Whitmore (responsible of some Pet Shop Boys, Eternal or Boy George hits) in the UK.
Back in Spain he records the song American Pie in 1995 (a cover of Don McClean's original) with the producer Pedro Vidal and DJ Rives. American Pie was released in many European countries, and it was #1 in Spain and Brazil. It was included in a lot of Spanish compilations like Bombazo Mix, Sonic Mix, Bad Boys or Techno Valencia. A UK remixes CD was also released.
In 1996 he recorded his second single I'm In A Heartache. Then, The Number One arrived, and later Freebaby, with another production team and record label. Finally in 1999, Líderes publishes his LP, Universal Love, which also includes the new single, Save My Life : The producers of the CD were Pedro Del Moral, David Ferrero and Pedro Vidal between others.
In 2001 he took part to a dance show called "Ericsson Generación WAP Festival" with some other artists like XTM presents Annia, Moncloa, Lexter, Brian Cross or Club De Soul. He presented in the show his new song America. The last songs we have heard of Luis were You (2002) and Free Your Mind (2003). He is working in new tracks, and next releases will probably have re-versions of his old classics.
