B-Cap started in the summer of 1994 with female vocalist called Aquilla and a DJ ragga-rapper called Prento. The two artists before had some difficulties releasing singles as solo artists. The producers were Cris Craft (Christian Leibl) and Michel Jean.

On January 19th 1995 the single Send Me An Angel was released under Koch International. The single was an instant dance hit all over Europe. It made #20 on DMC January 1995. Released in April 1995 in the USA, the single hit # 23 on Billboards Dance Charts. Released in Canada in May 1995, the single gained much airplay and bold request. It sold more than 5,2 million copies in Europe alone and received many gold discs and awards. This was the first and last hit the group would ever release.

Rumors say the group had to split up, due to legal issues with Real Life. This sounds strange, since their version of Send Me An Angel is not a Real Life cover.

B-Charme was an Italian project featuring female vocalist Gianna Cerchier. In 1997 Gianna met Kay M and, thanks to their intense and highly professional collaboration, her first single Wake Me Up came to life, released under Tabloid Records. This very successful track climbed the charts of the most important countries in Europe and abroad.The backing vocals were done by Elsa Cornish & Jennifer Karr. In 1999 the second single This Is My World was released, and had also a lot of success, especially in Italy. A remixes single was released afterwards, followed by an album bearing the same name.

Behind this project stand the producers Louis Element and Johnny Williams. B-one's most well-know singles are with no doubt The Rhythm, their debut single, released in 1995 and The Future, released the following year. After The Rhythm came Can't Stop The Boogie and It's A Shame, featuring the voices of La Velle and Jun Bug. All the singles were released in Germany under the label ZYX.

J. Williams & L. Element are the producers of two other Italian projects : Davis (No Good released in 1998) and Miranda (Vamos A La Playa which was even more successful than Eiffel 65 Blue in 1999).

At the end of 1999 or beginning of 2000, the group released a dance/house maxi, still with the voice of La Velle, called Celebrate The Feeling.

Not to be confused with another project called B One feat Maverick, a Dancework team project which in summer 2002 released the cover hit Indian Summer.

Johnny Williams also worked on a project which was very successful in France : Roman Photo. Currently he is the producer of the French teenage-lolita singer Lorie.

BA Original was created in 1992. It stands for... no matter what you choose in life... always "B A original"... his metaphor for life.

BA Original'S accomplishments include the world premier MTV video of Stand By Me BMG (Munich), with the group 3D. Since then BA Original also know as "BA" has been featured in several solo projects. The first one was the Gladiator project (Warner Brothers - Hamburg). Then came the eurodance single If I can't have you (Studio 33). Afterwards he recorded the rap/hip-hop China Boy (BMG - Berlin) and did performances on the TV shows "Charter Attack" in Cologne and "Giga Live" on NBC. Then came Love Story produced by Luis Rodriguez from the famous Studio 33 in Hamburg (Germany).

2005 : BA was in the studio, working on a studio album entitled The Next Phase to be released in 2006.

Babilonia is a project from the Italian label Hotline records. Samantha Boni is said to have contributed to the vocals of Too Easy. It was composed and written by M. Farina, G. Malaman, and M. Bassi. Farina and Factory Team, mixed at Factory Sound Studios in Verona (Italy).

Back 2 Basics is a project by UK dance label Almighty records.

In 1993, they released All For Love, which featured vocals by Tee Green and Lorraine McIntosh. The same year, they did a cover of Bryan Adams' song Please Forgive Me. Then, in 1994, came the single Always.

In 2010, they released a new version of Please Forgive Me vs. Almighty, featuring the voice of Jackie Rawe (who also contributed to some Obsession tracks).

Not to be confused with the Back 2 Basics project which made a cover of Alf Layla Wa Layla by Oum Khalsoum during summer 2002. 2 other tracks were released under the italian label Rise records, Where's My Money in 2001 and Vir Omar in 2002.

The Beating Of My Heart (Live To Tell) was based on the chorus of cover of Madonna's Live To Tell. A videoclip was shot for the single, featuring Daniëlle and the male dancers Roger and Martin. It went #207 in Australia in 1997

I Wanna Be With You was eurodance with a strong touch of happy-hardcore. Photos on sleeve were done by Nance's husband, photographer William Rutten. A videoclip was shot for this single too.

By the end of the 70's, disco had died and 80's techno/New Wave had emerged. Many groups such as Modern Talking, CC Catch, Eurythmics, and Fancy, spawned a whole new genre of music, called at this time 'techno'. In addtion to this unique style of music, Bad Boys Blue was created in 1982 by the producers Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann. The group consisted of Andrew Thomas, John McInerney, and Trevor Taylor.

Their first single L.O.V.E. In My Car was out in 1984 and it was not very successful. But they really started making it big in Europe with the follow-ups You're A Woman (which peaked #1 in Israel and reached the top 10 in many European countries) and Come Back And Stay. With much of their success, the group still kept on producing more dynamic ballad songs, that increased thier popularity in size of fans and in music.

Likewise, Bad Boys Blue wasn't as popular or accepted well in the US due to the unwillingness of most US music fans to accept techno as a style of music. However, they did manage to gain some acknowledegment with certain songs like, I Totally Miss You and Save your Love (# 89 on the US Billboard).

In 1991, the group performed at the "Children of Chernobyl" benefit concert in Russia, along with Blue System and Den Harrow. The same year, the first video compilation Bad Boys Best was released.

Of course, with great success came many problems, leading to Trevor Taylor leaving the group to persue his own style of music. By this time, Bad Boys Blue was still strong in the charts, but not as popular around the world. As a quick replacement for Trevor Taylor, the group found a temporary singer named Ova Standing. He sang with the group for a while until a new member arose, Trevor Bannister.

But after a few albums, Trevor left the group, and John and Andrew were left as a duo. They released a new album, called To Blue Horizons, and gained much success. Finally Trevor Taylor returned to establish the original trio but his return didn't last long, and soon he left again to produce his Reggae style. Once again Bad Boys Blue remained a duo until 1995.

In 1994, the group entered a new record label : Intercord. They ultimately found the next member of Bad Boys Blue : Mo Russel. The group spent two years at Intercord producing one album, and many singles.

In 1998, the Bad Boys Blue came back under Coconut records ; some of the production team members from Intercord has chipped in their talents to produce the newest installment to the group's albums. Entitled Back, it was released for the same reason as Modern Talking's newest album. The single You're A Woman'98 was released. Eric Singleton himself was even asked to contribute to the raps.

Felix J Gauder remixed some tracks of the album Bang Bang Bang. David Brandes and John O'Flynn produced some singles (From Heaven To Heartache, Come Back And Stay '98), and many tracks of the albums Back and Continued. Lyane Leigh took part as female vocalist to the singles Come Back And Stay and The Power Of The Night.

1999 : Mo left the group at the end of the year. He was replaced by Kevin McCoy (aka Jojo Max), who had already worked with the group since 1998 as a rapper. The group released a new album called Follow The Light in Autumn.

2000 : the new BBB single was called I'll Be Good. It was followed by the next album Tonite in July, which was not very succesful.

2002 : after the end of their contract with Coconut, the group signed a deal with Bros Music, David Brandes records company, in summer. In September they started working on their next album.

2003 : Kevin McCoy left the group. John and Andrew decided to go on as a duet again. David Brandes had the idea of having the BBB taking part to Eurovision Song Contest... to represent Estonia ! But the Estonian did not agree.

The Bad Boys Blue released their new single Lover On The Line on the 7th of July. At first it was a song which had been planned for a project called Crescent. Some other tracks of the album had also been initially written for other artists, among them : Thomas Anders, Chris Norman and Fancy.

Lover On The Line went #72 in Germany. Their new album, postponed several times, was called Around The World. Were also released, in Poland only, 2 best of compilations entitled In The Mix and The Stars Of The XX Century - Greatest Hits.

2004 : the BBB did a promo tour across Germany, the USA, Russia, Ukraine and Hungary.

2005 : in January, John made the decision to stop working with Andrew, who left the group. John kept on touring alone with backing singers. A DVD entitled 1985 - 2005 Video Collection was released, followed by many compilations.

2006 : the duet was recreated, with the arrival of Carlos Ferreira. In September was released a special 3 CD box entitled Hit Collection, featuring all BBB's mega hits. A second formation of the BBB is a trio featuring Andrew Thomas, Kevin McCoy and Herb McCoy, who continue touring under the name "The Real Bad Boys Blue". They could be working on a new release. The coexistence of 2 bands reminds of Boney M...

2007 : in February, John became the father of a little baby girl. The Bad Boys Blue have a new studio in Poland, 2 vocalists (Sylvia and Edyta) and a new producer called Johann Perrier (he stood behind the project OMD). In July, the new Bad Boys Blue single Hold Me In The Night can be discovered on their official website and Myspace. In August their new album, which was recoreded all along the year, will be mixed in Paris. On 31st August 2007 Coconut will release the new compilation of Bad Boys Blue simply titled Bad Boys Blue.

2008 : Trevor Oliver Taylor died January 19th, 2008 from a heart attack.

The new single Still In Love was released in April as digital release, and in May as physical single. Their new album Heart & Soul was available on June 13th in Germany, Austria & Switzerland, and it will be out in Poland on June 30th. The video for the single Still In Love was shot in July in Poland. The next single could be called my Dreams Come True.

2009 : A new Bad Boys Blue album, a double CD entitled 25 was planned to be released in September/October 2009 for the group's 25th anniversary. It included 25 new versions of the greatest hits and songs. Another new studio album containing totally new tracks was announced for Spring 2010.

Andrew Thomas died on 21st July 2009 from a pancreatic cancer.

2010 : their single Come Back And Stay Re-Recorded 2010 was released in Germany on 9th July and the album 25 on July23rd.

2011 : Carlos Ferreira was not a member of the BBB anymore since September. In October, Kenny "Krayzee" Lewis (he used to collaborate with C.C.Catch, Touché and Mark'Oh) replaced him.

2012 : Kenny Lewis left the project. John McInerney remains the only member.Carlos now tours in Poland with a band under the name Bad Boys New. Bad Boys Blue's new album was almost ready... A DVD entitled Live On TV was released.

2014 : the Bad Boys Blue published the preview of 2 new songs : entitled Heavenly and Owner Of My Dreams.

2015 : after The Original Maxi-Singles Collection in April, the Bad Boys Blue released a 2015 remixes package for their hit You're A Woman on June 12th.

2018 : a recharded version of album Heart & Soul and single Queen Of My Dreams was released.

Swedish vocalist, manager and songwriter Laila Natali Bagge Wahlgren was born 15 December 1972 in Lund as Laila Natali Cahling, from a Swedish mother and a Palestinian father. She learned jazz and ballet dancing.

In 1995, she joined the project Flexx and contributed to their single Spider. The same year, she released the single Kiss Of Life as Fanny Flow.

1998 : she released the album Hello Laila under Motown Records

She worked for Sony BMG New York for three years as a talent scout. Laila also found the members and developed the girlgroup Play which she co-managed with Matthew Knowles. Play was signed to Sony BMG New York and the group sold nearly 1 million albums. Laila has written songs for Céline Dion, 98 Degrees, 702 and Mýa.

In July 2003, Laila Wahlgren gave birth to a boy, Liam.

In 2007 Laila started two new companies together with her husband Anders Bagge (songwriter & producer) and Andreas Carlsson (songwriter): Meriola Media Group AB and Meriola Songs AB.

2008 : with her 2 associates Anders Bagge and Andreas Carlsson, Laila became reality-show Idol 2008 jury member. They have also worked on the first and second season of "Made in Sweden".

2009 : Laila participated in the Let's Dance 2009 reality show on the Swedish television channel TV4. She came in second place. She returned for the sixth season Idol 2009 (the show began to air September 8 2009 on TV4).

2010 : Laila was a member of Idol 2010 jury once again. On 6th March 2010, she married Niclas Wahlgren (that she met during Let's Dance 2009 show).

Carol J. Bailey's career reminds on many points Joy Salinas : she had her first successes in the early nineties, with the typical italian Garage style which was very fashionable in 1992. The song Understand Me, released in Ialy under the label DFC was a big hit in clubs Europe, licensed for example in Belgium under the label "music man" and in France under Happy Music, where it reached the top 30 club charts at the beginning of January 1993. The singles released in 1993 were in the same style but 1994 was the year to change : Carol Bailey left Garage style and started singing Eurodance !

With the help of Italian producers G.Trivellato & G.Sachetto and the upcoming team Alex Party, Feel It became a big hit across Europe, in the typical Italian dance style. This was released under famous labels like Multiply in UK and Scorpio Music in France, where it reached another time the top 30 club charts.

1995 was a great year for Alex Party which had a lot of success with their own hits and Livin Joy, but they produced also a new song for Carol Bailey, Fever, in which we could easily recognize the "Alex Party touch". The pleasant following songs I Can't Make You Love Me and Under My Skin had less success but they still went on to be licensed in other countries, still Scorpio Music in France.

Meanwhile, Carol performed for German project U96 to help them promote their single Club Bizarre. She could be seen on the stage of Dance Machine 6. She also did vocals on another of their singles, Movin'.

Composer, songwriter, producer and singer Dan Bălan was born on February 6th, 1979. He began to sing and compose rock music with band Pantheon. Then he founded rock band Inferial with Radu Buftea, Lupascu, Valentin "Vamp", Banaru and Petru Jelihovschi. They evolved to to pop-rock, but soon he realized that he needed to leave this type of music was not popular anymore.

In September 1999, with Petru Jelihovschi, Dan formed the first boys band in Moldova : O-Zone. which became the #1 band in Moldova before scoring a huge hit with Dragostea Din Tei and Despre Tine.

After O-zone split in 2005, he decided to start making rock music again. With the best musicians in his region, he moved to Los Angeles. Although Dan wrote the compositions prior to the formation of his band, it took two years to get a signature sound. He asked producer Jack Joseph Puig (John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, The Black Crows, Rolling Stones) to produce the record. An album was recorded in April/June 2006 at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles.

In 2006, he went back to dance again. Introducing an alter ego-character, Crazy Loop, he released the single Crazy Loop (Mm-ma-ma). It went #1 in the Romanian charts. The video, directed by Marc Klasfeld and filmed in Los Angeles, was released throughout Europe in the fall of 2007 and was voted the song of the year by fans. In December 2007, the first and only Crazy Loop album entitled The Power of Shower was released.

2008 : Dan released the video for the second song Crazy Loop Joanna (Shut Up!).

2010, he released Chica Bomb, his first single under his complete name Dan Balan, featuring American Katie DiCicco. It became an instant hit in many European countries : #37 in Germany, #44 in the UK and #1 in Russia and Greece. For Greek market, the song was re-recorded with the Greek singer Eleni Foureira, and they performed the song during the 2010 MAD Video Music Awards. Follow-up single was entitled Justify Sex, once again featuring Katie DiCicco. It was presented on July 31st, in Moscow, at the Europe Plus Live 2010 festival. The official video first aired on 13th October, 2010.

2011, Crazy Loop (Mm-ma-ma) and Chica Bomb were featured on Step Evolution's "ReRave" game for the iOS, Android and Arcade platforms. He released the single Freedom. Then came the Russian single Lish Do Utra (Until the morning only)

2012 : Dan currently lives in New York. He released the single Ne Lyubya in April.

2013 : his new single was a collaboration with Tany Vander & Brasco entitled Lendo Calendo.

2015 : Dan Balan was back with a new single entitled Funny Love. 2 months later, he released the song Плачь in Russia.

2016 : he was featured by Romanovskaya on her single Malo Maliny.

2017 : his new single Hold On To Love was out. Then in August came single Nashe Leto, a duet with Russian singer Vera Brezhneva.

2018 : in March, he featred singer Matteo on his new singe Allegro Ventigo. Then in September he teamed with Marley Waters to release a reboot of O-Zone's hit Dragostea Din Tei under title Numa Numa 2

2019 : he was one of the coaches of Golos Kraïni, Ukrainian version of real-TV show the Voice.

Balja (real name : Balca) is one of the best kept secrets in Fun Factory's history. She was born on April 14th, 1976. She was credited on the projects 2 first albums and she appeared in their first video clip Groove Me. The reasons she left Fun Factory to be replaced by Marie-Anett are unknown. She could also have been the vocalist of the project 2 Raff and Darkness. She also probably performaed the vocal parts on La Verona's cover of Fun Factory's Love of my life, Verona Feldbusch Pooth only doing the female raps.

2008 : Balca recorded songs This is love, Hollywood film, Someday, Stop Playin' Tricks, and Turn my love around, co-written and co-produced with Toni Cottura and Marcus Brosch and published the demos on her Youtube channel. They haven't been published on any official album or single so far.

2009 : Balca paired up with Romanian artist Vali Craciunescu to make the song Surrender which was a non-qualifier for Eurovision 2009 contest. Meanwhile, she went back in studio with Toni Cottura to record 8 new tracks for a comeback of Fun Factory...

2010 : Balca lives in Hamburg, Germany. Recently, she recorded a song written by Toni Cottura and entitled Please Don't Break My Heart. The song was also recorded (and released) by Greek singer Kalomira feat. Fat Man Scoop. Maybe Balca sang the demo and then Toni Cottura gave the song to Kalomira ?

In 2013, she was officially back with the 2 other original members of Fun Factory Toni and Steve to perform during 90s concerts and festivals.

Peter Bernhard Ballweg (also known as Pit Bailay or Pit Bailey) was born in Buchen on the 14th of November 1968. He started studying the piano at the tender age of 6.

From 1990 till 2000, he played the keyboards for many bands, such as Tivoli, Curly Sue and California music show.

In 1993, he became studio-keyboardist for Volker Lindner. In 1994, he started to produce his own creations. In 1995 he started collaborating with DJ Llördy and Paul Mangerich.

He is the producer who stood behind eurodance projects such as Project P, Future Beat, Bonanza, Space Mission... He also contributed to Megatronic, Riverside People, and other Shift Music projects.

He also did remixes for DJ Jo (Relax), Fraktal 4 (The Promised Land), Andy B. Jones (I Will Always Love You, Your Music), Steve Handrixx (Immortality), Terence (The Sequence Of Sunrise).

In 2002, he entered the band Sphinx-live as keyboardist.

He also released a solo single under the name Pit Bailay entitled We Loved. Then came Ride Like The Wind in 2005.

Rumors say Desirée Sparre-Enger was born in a cowshed on the Norwegian countryside. It is probably not true. She discovered pop music at the age of two. During her school years, Desirée frequently initiated pupils' performances with herself in the leading parts. Her theatrical fantasies had no limits, but she never realized that plays like The Sound Of Music or Les Miserables perhaps demanded dramatic experience beyond the capacity of a pre-teen dreamer.

Desirée was working for the youth department in a national radio station when she first reached out for stardom. One day, a producer asked her if she wanted to sing the chorus for a song. She did, and after a lot of singing, “Candy Girl” became the result. She decided to release the song as a single and signed on to Scandinavian Records.

Now she needed a name. She got in touch with her good friend and singer, Shortcut, and they had a name brain-storming for Desirée. The first thing to strike his mind was Bambi. It made him think of Disney's famous deer animal character, because of her big, blue, innocent eyes. Des loved the idea of Bambi, but made a small change to Bambee, because of Disney's copyright laws.

It was a huge and daring step for Desirée to take the plunge as Bambee, but she hasn't regretted it since. She probably had to fight harder than anyone to enter the playlists; expecting special treatment or any other benefit from her position would overrate her power - and underestimate the integrity of the radio jockeys. Supported by public demand, she traveled to major cities, and performed in small clubs all over Norway and Scandinavia. She was a part of a cross-country festival tour, arranged by national media and broadcast live on TV. She also starred in the Radio 1 Big City event and was invited to host the prestigious Radio 1 Music Awards show.

The lack of limits has become one of Bambee's most powerful forces. She is confident in her career, proud of her appearance, and happy for the success she has achieved so far. Equally important is the touch of self-irony that allows Bambee to keep the artist in her, out of her private life. Sometimes it is necessary to separate the two, but a brief glance into her wardrobe (similar to the costume stock at any major theatre) makes you doubt her efforts to keep them apart. Either way, she is a creative and charming personality - neat, sweet and talented. She loves to play TV-games in her sparetime and she is very keen when she is playing. It happens to often that she plays till late night. Her favourite game is Resident Evil.

Bambee's music is pure and simple bubblegum songs. Her first album release, On Ice, established her as a baby-voiced singer with the eyes of a fallow deer. The album went straight to the sales and airplay charts in Scandinavia, followed by impressive success in the Asian, Russia, the Middle East, and the South American markets. Some media representatives drew parallels to Aqua, who dominated the international charts at the time. The difference between the two singers is quite sensational; Bambee's voice is naturally baby-like - no studio tricks required!

Bambee released her second full-length album, Fairytales, in June of 2001. Included are the hit singles Seventeen, Cowgirl, and eleven more enjoyable and danceable tracks that make you feel good.

A third Bambee album was planned, it is said that some demos had been written. However, songwriter Linnea Handberg (aka Miss Papaya) was growing tired of writing bubblegum dance styled music. As a consequence, both the Bambee and Miss Papaya projects were abandoned. In 2005, these demos leaked on the net and were published on Youtube : among them the titles Catch A Little Rain, Lucky Number One, I Miss You Now, In The Middle Of The Night, On The Run, Queen Of Love.

Banaroo is a Bubblegum Dance group from Germany, created in 2005 by Super RTL. They are best known for their hit singles Dubi Dam Dam, Space Cowboy, Coming Home For Christmas, and Uh Mamma.

Banaroo was created in 2005 through a casting call by Super RTL in Germany. After many rounds of tryouts, they finally found the four members who would form Banaroo. Robbert "Bobby" Dessauvagie, Stefanie "Steffy" Dreyer, Kathrin "Cat" Geißler, and Vittorio "Vito" Magro. The group was signed to the label Na Klar! and was also given their own reality show in Germany on the TV series Das Star-Tagebuch. Banaroo released their debut single Dubi Dam Dam on June 5th, 2005. The single achieved huge success. In July 2005, Banaroo released their debut album, titled Banaroo's World, which charted at #1 in both Germany and Austria and at #7 in Switzerland. It was certified platinum in Germany, and certified Gold in both Austria and Switzerland. In December 2005, Banaroo released their second album, titled Christmas World, which included a mix of Christmas songs as well as some regular songs.

In February 2006, Banaroo returned with a new single called Uh Mamma. It charted in the top 10 in Germany and Austria and peaked at #11 in Switzerland. Their third album, Amazing, was released on March 24th, 2006. It charted at #2 in Austria, #6 in Germany, and #25 in Switzerland. The second single released from Amazing was Sing And Move (La La La Laaaa). It failed to reach the success of their past singles, only reaching a peak of #51.

In March 23rd, 2007, Banaroo returned with a new single titled Ba Yonga Wamba, which was also unable to match their previous success, though charting higher than Sing And Move (La La La Laaaa), charting at the top 30 in Germany and Austria. They released their seventh single I'll Fly Away on May 4th, 2007. It only charted at #84 in Germany. They released their fourth album on July 4th, 2007. Despite failing to do as well as their past albums, it still charted at #24 in Germany. On October 19th, 2007, Banaroo released a greatest hits album titled The Best Of Banaroo, including two new songs, which were a cover of Crying At The Discotheque by Alcazar and Waterloo by ABBA as exclusive tracks for this album. The album failed to chart.

Sadly, in May 2008, Vito confirmed that Banaroo had disbanded and the members were moving on to solo projects.

As of 2012, Vito is part of a duo called Destivo, Steffy is persuing a career in stage acting, and Kathrin Geißler is now a solo singer.

In February 2013, after over four years of silence from Banaroo, Na Klar! announced that Banaroo would be making a comeback in 2013, but with all new members. After several rounds of casting for new members, four new members were selected : Doro Farkas, Laura Luppino, Alvin Philipps, and Daniel Langer. The new line-up was announced in March 2013. They also have a Facebook fanpage now and their official website is back online, having been taken offline around 2009. So far, it has been confirmed that Banaroo will tour Germany and Austria in the Toggo Tour 2013 from May until September 2013. They have also announced that Banaroo's new single will be released on May 17th, 2013, a remake of Banaroo's past hit Dubi Dam Dam. Banaroo will also release a fifth album titled Bubblegum World sometime during 2013, expected for a summer release, which will include new versions of their past hits as well as several brand new songs. A release date for the new album will be announced soon.

On November 6th, Laura Luppino confirmed that Banaroo was splitting up again. Laura explained said this was due to disagreements between the members about the group's future

2014 : Laura Luppino released her first solo album. She toured with musical 3 Musketiere, das Musical. She competed with her song The Energy of Love for Swiss ESC preselections but was not selected.

2015 : in June, Laura was featured on Oliver DeVille's single Indian Skies

2016 : Laura Luppino did vocals on Lyar's Trigger and on Melloton's cover of the Cranberries Zombie.

Singer, teacher and vocalist Liliana Bancolini was born in Milan (Italy). With Luciano Scaglianti, she wrote the song Giovane Donna in 1977. She took part to important reviews and records (Les Disques Victo Canada, Virgin) and cinematographic (Brucio nel Vento by Silvio Soldini). The is thought to have taken part to many Italian eurodance projects from Discomagic records, without being credited.

2010 : she was featured by Guido Block on song One. It appeared on compilation International Hits, where 4 covers that she sung (I Will Always, It's Raining Man, I'm Outta Love and Something Stupid) were also included. The same year, Mina cover song E se domani appeared on compilation Io canto (Italian Songs)

2013 : she released The Very Best Tribute to Boney T (Boney M) with Tonio. A compilation entitled Tribute to Mina included her version of E se domani as well as Non credere, Se telefonando, Grande grande grande and Vorrei che fosse amore. In December, compilation 2014: Aspettando il Capodanno cantando included cover of Italian classics, 2 of them sung by Liliana : Meravigliosa creatura and La primavera

2018 : she recorded a cover of Enrico Ruggeri's Nessuno tocchi caino with Antonio Summa.

Nowadays, she performs cover songs in English and Italian by several famous singers, sings in the area of jazz and improvised music.

Many tracks were released under 21st Century Records, a label of SAIFAM Publishing Group. Bandido is a production of Mauro Farina, in cooperation with some Spanish producers from Barcelona.

The frontlady is described as a very nice girl with black hair and big brown eyes born in Frankfurt (Germany). Since she was young, she showed a big interest in music. She started 14 years old to sing with a little band of friends. At the age of 16, she founded with some other girls a totally female Group called Dirty Girls. With this group, she performed a lot of shows during three years making a lot of stage experience. On 1994 she meet some Spanish DJs that were in contact with the famous producer Mauro Farina and then she started working with him, firstly like background vocalist in some studio sessions. She collects shoes, her favourite colour is black, her favourite food is rice & curry, her favourite drink is Coca Cola. She loves dogs and cats. Her favourite music are disco and eurobeat.

The first single of Bandido was entitled Like The Way I Do (a cover of a Melissa Etheridge song). It was released in 1995 under the label Chin Chin Pum Records, then re-released under the label 21st Century. On the vinyl, one could find a Club Mix and a Factory Team Edit. There was also a B-side called Kilowatt (composed by Carlos Garcia Puche, M. Gonzales Almodovar and Mauro Farina) .

The follow-up single I Drove All Night is a cover. It was conceived by Carlos Garcia Puche and Stefano Ghilardi, licensed for Dig It International Italy. The remixes were produced by Factory Team. Sometimes it can be seen under the name Bandido feat Piropo.

California Dream was released under the label Chin Chin Pum. The composers' team had not changed, nor the structure of the vinyl : a Club Mix, a Factory Team Mix, an Acustic Mix and a B-side (Power Tools).

Bandido's 4th single was I Wanna Dance With Somebody. It was a cover of a Whitney Houston song, orinally released in 1987. There were 3 versions on the vinyl : a Factory Team & Company edit, a Radio edit, a Club edit and the B-side, called Get You Groove.

Then came Get Into The Groove (cover of a Madonna song) in 1998 : 3 tracks were available on the vinyl : Factory Team Remix, 7" Edit anda B-side called Technika. The single featured a solo vocalist, whose voice appeared on other SAIFAM tracks : Jenny. The follow-up was released the same year : Wouldn't It Be Good (originally sung by Nik Kershaw). 2 mixes were presented : a Factory Team remix and a Sun mix. Not forgetting the B-side entitled Pump It Up...

For Sale, a very nice eurodance tune (originally sung by Moltocarina), was released as vinyl and as CD-maxi in 1999. It featured a solo female vocalist. There was a Factory Team Mix, a 7" Edit, and a Playback edit. And no B-side, for once.

2001 : after Vamos Amigos (which was a cover of a song by South Korean singer Lee Jung Hyun originally entitled Wa and was also covered by several other bands such as Cherry), Bandido's new single was entitled All Night Long and for once, it was not a cover. It could be found on the SAIFAM CD Dance On The Web Vol. 8 together with the new Morgana single (Boys And Girls).

2003 : Bandido was back with a single entitled Show Me.

Belgian trio made out of the following members : Mike, Serge G. and Little Milk. They started their first band together with rapper B.B. Jerome in the early 1990's as B.B. Jerome & The Bang Gang. Once B.B. left they tried their luck without him but the success the group had in the early years was no longer there.

Bang Gang Night featured the vocals and raps of Conchita Leeflang. Rap lyrics were done by Tony Kabea. Backing vocals were done by Guy Waku, Conchita, Serge, Mike, Little Milk & Tony Kabea. The single was a cover of Jimmy Cliff's Reggae Night. It was released under Rowyna Music / Groove Syndicate, produced by Fred Fraikin (who produced the second album of the French project L5) & Guy Waku (a producer born in Congo, who had already worked with Frédéric François, François Feldman, Peter Gabriel, Kassav...) for the Groove Syndicate Production, engeneered and mixed by Fred Fraikin. The executive producers were Olivier Fraikin & Dimitri Kontogiannis.

In 1995, a second single was released, entitled Love Is The Message. Executive producers were Olivier Fraikin and Dimitri Kontogiannis. It was produced by Fred Fraikin and Guy Waku, recorded and mixed by Fred Fraikin. It featured vocals by Gery, the Bang Gang, Guy Waku and Shiri. It was written by Shiri, G. Waku, F. Fraikin and Little Milk.

No relationship with the project Bang Gang which stands behind the trance and electro tracks You, I Like To Move it or Nice 'N' Sleazy, nor with the disco group The Bang Gang which released some tracks in 1982 (Fill Me Up, Street Music).

Later, Fred Fraikin & Guy Waku kept on producing artists, such as Jean-Louis Daulne and Ophélie Winter.

Christopher Banks graduated from the renowned Bruckner-Konservatorium in Linz/Austria, studying church organ and composition. He contributed to about 25 projects and publications in the range of RnB, Pop and House. He hit european charts with Joy and Superfeucht between 1984 and 1989. After that he stayed in London and L.A. and worked together with Michael Thompson, Tony Peluso and Jim Lang.

In 1995, he released an LP entitled Everybody, which included the excellent eurodance track Music is a Fantasy, as well as tracks such as I Got U, I Believe I Can Fly. He played this 3 tracks at the MIDEM in Cannes.

Between 1997 and 1999 he produced the RnB duo Black Kurrant. He also composed jingles for MDR Sputnik, N-Joy Radio, Jump M4, Kiss FM, Radio Hamburg, Welle Hamburg, Ö3, ORF etc. Since 2000 Christopher Banks is producer for Luzifer. His own current project Incarnation with Seth Bimpeh just started promotion. Post summer hit Take Me Back To Sahara already is playing on radio stations from Berlin to Milano and is Ibiza's station song

Italian project Barby Young started as a Hi-NRG project featuring female vocalists Andrea Delfino and Antonella Melone, who were not credited for their contributions. A blond model fronted the project. A few singles were released under label Radiorama Productions, produced by P. Gemma, then the project was paused.

It was revived into a bubblegum project when this music style became popular. They released 2 covers of Aqua (Roses Are Red and My Oh My) and one of Toy-Box (Tarzan & Jane)

This mysterious project included a rapper called F. Marchi and a female vocalist : Sandy Chambers. They have only released one single entitled Gonna Get A Moving (as vinyl). Label : Universal. Barcode Brothers was founded by Anders Øland and Christian Møller Nielsen aka CMN. Christian had done remixes for Me & My, the Backstreet Boys et Los Umbrellos. He also wrote songs for Tiggy, while Anders also co-wrote Aqua's Dr. Jones.

Their first single was a cover of These Boots Are Made For Walking, originally sung by Nancy Sinatra. It was used for a TV commercial for Coca-Cola Light in France, where it went #76. They scored a huge hit with their second single Dooh Dooh in 1999. Produced, arranged and mixed at The Barcode Complex (Copenhagen) and mastered at Cutting Room in Stockholm, it went #4 in Denmark and #17 in Germany (where it sold more than 100 000).

Their first album Swipe Me was released in 2000. It sold 65 000 copied in Denmark and was nominated at Grammy awards and won Dance Album of the Year, while Dooh Dooh was Club Hit of the Year. Singles It's a Fine Day (a cover of Opus III, sampling a 1983 song from Jane) and Flute followed.

2002 : second studio album BB02 was out. Anders did some of the vocals. "Animating technology, giving it a soul, is a recurring theme in every segment of the album," says CMN. "And this animation process is something we attempt to define through sound. We use a robot voice throughout. The robot voice helps create the golden chain linking the tracks together.". Single SMS was a hit.

2004 saw the end of the project which disbanded.

2011 : duo was back again to perform on festivals.

Giorgia Barrows was a eurobeat project from Hi NRG Attack fronted by model Giorgia Barosso and featuring various studio vocalists. For instance, Andrea Delfino did vocals on Movin' Up. Vocals were sampled on DJ Black's single Medley Movin' Up With If You Have Let Me Down. Giorgia Barrows' vocals were also used on Hugovox and Nikka. From 1997, studio vocalist was Christiana Cucchi, then Roberta Lertora.

His real name is Bart Claessen. He was born on 22nd January 1980 in Asten, Holland. When he was 18 years old, he started to make some music in his bedroom studio he called "The Groove Studio". This is how he recorded a few demo-songs.

In October 2000 Bart finished a very cool club-trance-track which he called On The Move. At that time Bart was a student at the HKU (Utrecht School Of The Arts, one of the largest schools of the arts in Europe). The demo-version was played for the first time on Saturday 14th October in the Dance Mania Show on SIRIS Radio ! The white-label (promo 12") was played for the first time the following month.

It entered the Dance Mania Top 30 at the number 1 position on Saturday 20th January 2001, but also in the Dutch Dance Trends, The Pioneer Fresh 40, The IDP Dance Charts, The TMF Dance Charts and in The Clubcharts ! Some time after On The Move was released as single he decided to quit with his study because he was very busy with new tracks and remixes for other artists.

His new single Infected was released in Holland on 12" vinyl on September 24th 2001. The CD release was on October 8th.

Apart from his own project he also remixed tracks such as Mark'Oh's Never Stop That Feeling, Vengaboys ' Cheekah Bow Bow (That Computer Song), System F's Soul On Soul, Blank & Jones' Desire and DJ Jean's Lift Me Up.

2002 : Barthezz released a promo single called Your Thick.

2003 : Barthezz won't finally release Your Thick officially. His new single was released under the name of Steroshaker, and it is entitled Rock & Roll, it's in same style as his previous releases

2004 : Barthezz is on the move again.... This time he's back under his real name, Bart Claessen. Persona Non Grata is described as a powerful track with a rough and hypnotic bass line, dirty synths, menacing pads and emotional vocals. The Stereoshaker Remix is a dub mix with a more techno edge to it. It's his first release on United's new high end trance imprint Yakuza.

2005 : Bart released another single, entitled Playmo.

2006 : Bart Claessen released a single entitled When Morning Comes.

Base Project are from Finland. The project is made of a rapper and a female vocalist. The composer is called Tuntematon (a very well-known composer who has been doing music for years in his homeland). Their music is a mix of eurodance and euro-reggae. They never released any album, just a demo-CD with 9 or 10 of their tracks. It includes the very powerful I Want To Be, which is one of the best tracks they ever released.

One of the members of Base Project (the rapper) moved to the US some years ago. The other one is still working around music, he created the eurotrance project Ion with the vocalist Marjaana Pakkanen. Their debut single was entitled Can't You Hear Me.

Basic Connection is a project by the Italian producer Mauro Tondini, who also took part to producing the Alexia albums Mad For Music and Alexia.

Several different singers contributed to the proect : Daniela Gorgoni, Helen Jayne Davies, Julie Harrington, Daniela Rando, Joanne Houchin and Laura Robles. Some of them also took part to co-writing their songs. Daniela Gorgoni, for example, is the singer and co-writer of the first single Háblame Luna (which included remixes made by Todd Terry). The project was fronted by Alice Guarnieri, a professional dancer and a classic dance teacher too, who sung playback on stage and in the videos. Alice was born in Milano, where she still lives. She studied at Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Brera and works at Get fit - Dimensione Danza - Propatria - Mirtillo (Milano).

The next two singles Angel (with remixes by Blank & Jones) and You Are My Love were co-written by Sandy Chambers. Angel was also released under the name Sash! presents Basic Connection feat Joanne Houchin. The album has been published in different versions with two different covers. On the German edition the lyrics of the first track Háblame Luna were in English, only the chorus was sung in Spanish. On the Italian edition the whole song was sung in Spanish. The rest of the tracklist was the same on both editions.

The Promise Man (1993)

Original Basic Element included the rapper Peter Thelenius (Petrus), keyboardist Cesar Zamini and singer Zetma Prenbo.

Peter and Ceasar both come from Malmö, Sweden. They went to Holland to work and make some money, but with no success. So they decided to go back to Malmö and become popstars. They met the singer Zetma Prenbo through the employment office. Their first single Move Me was released under the EMI label in 1993, with the help of the producer Stefan Andersson. It was followed by the megahit The Promise Man which was one of the most played songs on the radio in early 1994 and went straight up to #1 at almost every dancecharts around Scandinavia. The first 2 singles's covers showed 2 girls : Zetma and another vocalist who had left the band before the release of the third single Touch.

The name Basic Element has a funny origin. Members had a hard time finding a good stage name, and while they was discussing about it Ceasar burned his hand on a radiator (a element in Swedish) so they decided to make a name whith 'element' in it.

In 1994 their first album was released. Entitled Basic Injection it gathered the singles The Promise Man, Move Me, and Touch and the forthcoming Leave It Behind. It sold in 35.000 copies in Sweden.

In 1995 Zetma who was pregnant was replaced by Saunet Sparrell whom they met in a supermarket. On the second album the producer Stefan became co-writer of the songs. They tried to create a house-track but this failed, and the result was The Ride, the first release from the second album and the first song with Saunet's voice (released with a Sex-ride remix and a Acappella version). From the second album entitled The Ultimate Ride were also released the singles The Fiddle, This Must Be A Dream and Queen Of Love.

In 1995 Ceasar and Peter started to argue about many things. Finally, Cesar Zamini left the band. Peter won the rights of the name 'Basic Element' in court and he, Saunet and Stefan worked on. Single Queen Of Love doesn't have Ceasar's photo on it.

Their third album, named Star Tracks, was released. SingleShame, the first to be released from the album, was totally different from the earlier production. One day when Stefan was playing a little whith the keyboards he made it sound like the 70s disco, just for fun. So they got the idea to make a disco-song. Star tracks album also included some ballads and some drum'n'bass influenced tracks. Only Rule Your World was pure Eurodance.

During a break in 1997, Petrus released a solo album. Basic Element came back in 1998 with Earthquake, an album released under Universal Records, and a new female vocalist, because Saunett left the band. Petrus heard Marie Fredriksson (no relationship with the Roxette singer) by chance while she was in the studio. She sounded like Saunett, and she agreed when he asked her to join the band. As for Saunet, she is now on ZTV and Swedish TV3 on a single chart program called Toppen. 2 singles were released from the Earthquake album : Rok The World and Love 4 Real. With their last album Basic Element is succeeding at least in Finland. 2002 : Basic Element are back ! The new vocalist of the project is called Sabina, the record companies they signed with is Zomba (Holland), Stockholm Records and Minnestry of sound (England).

2003 : In March they started their Eurodiscotour. They gave their first live performance in the city of Linkoping (Sweden), During 45 minutes, they played all their old hits. The new single adn the new album planned for release were entitled Out of This World. But nothing came so far...

When contacted in November, Teijo Agélii-Leskelä, managing director of the Swedish records company Plugged Records, explained that their collaboration with Basic Element was finished since this summer. He was unable to tell anything about Basic Element and Peter Thelenius' future plans.

"We took a one-year break between 2000 and 2001, but otherwise we have been doing live performances almost every weekend. While in studio, we haven’t worked on new Basic Element material, but done songs for other artists. We also established our own company, called Stockhouse. It’s mostly a booking agency, but we also release albums. Earning our living with Basic Element was really difficult, so we also need our regular day jobs", Petrus says.

2004 : they performed live on the 2nd of July Linköping at a place called Blue Ribbon. They appeared live at "Mejeriet" in Värnamo (Sweden) on the 23rd of October.

2005 : Basic Element has once again, performed live in Linköping. The concert was held at a club called BK (Bar & Kök).

Peter has been chosen to participate in the Swedish pre-eliminatory contest for the Eurovision. He will join a project called B-Boys International feat. Paul M. The song is called One Step Closer. The song has been written by no one else than D-Flex (Rob'n'Raz).

In August, Basic Element released a new version of their hit This Must Be A Dream. "We didn’t know what the people would think about our comeback. The single was a success in Sweden, made it to Top Ten on the Swedish chart and the people also started to get even more interested in our gigs. This fuelled up our ambitions and we decided to give it a try", Petrus recalls

Between the 25th and the 27th, Basic Element took part to a boat trip between Stockholm and Helsinki. They performed live along with other artists such as September, Infernal or Kayo.

2006 : Basic Element's new single was entitled Raise The Gain. It featured vocals by Charlie King. Then in August came its follow-up I'll Never Let You Know, which entered the Swedish charts at #13 in September.

2007 : Basic Element were nominated to the Finnish NRJ Radio Awards but they did not win. They released a promo single entitled To You, featuring once again Charlie King, and some raps by Petrus. Their brand new album was entitled The Empire Strikes Back.

2008 : in March, they announced that they would go back to studio to work on a new album. Their next single was a great track called Feelings, out in August. They performed it at Sopot Hit Festiwal. Their next single's title was revealed in October : it would be entitled Touch You Right Now. It featured rapper D-flex.

2008 : Basic Element's new album was entitled The Truth. "It’s very important, that our music can be downloaded from the net, whether it’s legal or not, as it’ll draw more new faces to our gigs then. Of course, it’s better if people really buy our album, Petrus mentions, but gives still praise to the free Internet downloads.". The new Basic Element vocalist is called Andrea Myrander.

2010 : Basic Element recorded a new single entitled Got You Screaming. It was included on the digital compilation Absolute Dance Summer 2010. Vocalist Andrea left the project. The remaining members are currently in studio recording new tracks for a future album.

2011 : Basic Element's new single is entitled Turn Me On.

2012 : in April, Basic Element signed a record deal with Swedish dance records label Family Tree. They released a new single called Shades and featuring Max C.

2014 : Basic Element's new single was entitled Someone Out There

2016 : in May, Basic Element teamed with Dr Alban on single Good To You. End of year, it was announced that Petrus' wife Linda Thelenius would join the project and that a new single was planned for Spring 2017

B.A.S.P. stands for Bel Air Sound Project. This Swedish eurodance project consisted of Andy White, Anders Thorslund and his sister, vocalist Anne-Lie Thorslund. The first single Party Express was recorded at City Recording Studio in Stockholm. It was written by Anne-Lie, Andy White and Ferrara (aka Janne Forsman), released in 1993.

The single In Case Of Emergency featured raps by Steven J from Mach 7. It was released in 1994 after being recorded at City Recording Studio, in Stockholm (Sweden). It was written by A. Lee, Andy White and S. Rodriguez, published by Hawk Music, the cover was designed by Micke Sjöblom/Oden Design.

The following single I Wanna Be Happy also featuring Steven J. In 1996 came their last single Boom Boom My Heart : written by Andy White (who was also producer) and A.Lee, it was engineered by Anders Thorslund at City Recordings Studio, still in Stockholm, and published by Hawk Music.

Bass Bumpers are two of the most creative songwriters and producers of dancefloor-hits in Germany these days : Henning Reith, multi-talented keyboard player and the person behind the sound mixing desk is the one coming up with ever new ideas for songs and sounds. He composed I Can't Stand It - a chart hit with Twenty 4 Seven all over the world, and "Caba" Kroll who contributes to Bass Bumpers with his long time of experience as DJ at the Bochum Tarm Center and arranges the productions for the dancefloor scene. He is also responsible for the Bass Bumpers management and he plans the tours with all the tour agencies and licensees in Germany and abroad.

Bass Bumpers were founded in 1990 when Henning and Caba released their first production with the dance label Dance Street. With the title Can't Stop Dancing, released in Summer 1990, the Bass Bumpers entered the European dancefloor-scene. A remixes vinyl was released the following year.

For the second production Get The Big Bass, the Englishman E.Mello (Nelan Freeman) was engaged as songwriter and rapper. E.Mello, a former member of the Starlight Express ensemble and an educated dancer, creates the choreographies for the shows. Get The Big Bass immediately sold 20.000 records in Germany and was listed in the top ranks of the DMC charts for weeks. In Spain, France and Italy Get The Big Bass was played in every club and eventually became a top 10 club-hit in the summer of 1991.

Another year had passed when record #3, The Music's Got Me, was released which caused the Bass Bumpers International break-through. The Music's Got Me was released worldwide with the newly-engaged singer Felicia Uwaje and E.Mello. The song became a hit in the sales charts in France (#16 in the top 50), in the USA (#28 in the Billboard Maxi-singles) and in Spain (#10), as well as in all important club-charts in Germany, Benelux, Italy, Austria and in Switzerland in 1992. It was a real surprise when the Bass Bumpers The Music's Got Me immediately became #25 in the UK Top 40 Charts.

The follow-up single could have been In The Summer, but, since The Music's Got Me was still doing great in the charts, they finally released it under the project name Vamoz.

They took part to the realization of one of Amanda Lear's album and also contributed to the Eurodance project Damage Control. They also remixed for many eurodance groups, such as Masterboy, Real McCoy and Maxx.

Having released the single Move To The Rhythm (Top 50 in France) and the album Advance in the autumn of 1992, the title Bass Bumpers Megabump became another smash club-hit.

The single Running was the last in the successful series of the Bass Bumpers productions to be released in 1993. From 1990 to 1993 more than 200.000 singels and albums were sold in Germany, though the official Media Control-charts were never reached.

Exactly one year later the new Bass Bumpers single Good Fun was released. In the course of this year the studio was reorganized and new license agreements were made with East West records (territory : Germany & USA) and Dance Street (territory : worldwide).

In 1997 Bass Bumpers released a single called Running ´97 which was remixed by ATB. In 1999 they were said to have released a single titled Make Up Your Mind - a rather slow house/underground club track. Actually this track was released by a project named Bass Jumpers... The Music's Got Me was covered by the project Brooklyn Bounce.

2002 : Bass Bumpers team recorded a new single entitled All I Want. It was composed in collaboration with Markus Gardeweg, and released under his name. The vocals were done by Felicia Uwaje and the maxi was published by Radikal records

2003 : The Music's Got Me was covered by the project Purestar. The Bass Bumpers team released in January a track entitled I Need More, still a cover of The Music's Got Me, with new lyrics, still sung by Felicia.

2004 : Bass Bumpers remixed Despina Vandi Opa Opa this summer.

2005 : Bass Bumpers released as vinyl The Music Got Me 2005. They also planned to remix the single What You Do by DJ Absolute & Paul Holden feat Beverley Anne. They also released, under the name of Crazy Frog, a remix of the famous Axel F theme that was used for a ringtone commercial. It was a huge hit.

2008 : CJ Stone, former member of the team, recorded a single in collaboration with Milo.nl called Exciting

2015 : last month, Bass Bumpers and North2South released a 2015 version of their classic The Music's Got Me

2016 : Bass Bumpers were back with a new single entitled Big Girls' Mouth. Then they released a new version of their hit Good Fun.

Bass Expanders is a project of Simon Maccari, Christopher Sparacino and Francesco "Ciccio" Terrana. Together they created the ZIIOZOO Productions (don't try to find a meaning for the name: it's only a play on words) in 1992 and installed their recording studios Carpi, near Modena (Italy). They also stand behind the projects X-dream, New Mill and Beatmatic (among others).

The singer, rapper and composed Christopher Sparacino was born 1967 in Amarillo (Texas), grew up in Chicago, then moved to Italy. He ws credited as rapper under the name Dance Vice or D-vice. He had previously did raps on Rhythmatic - Say To Me (Hallelujah)

The project also featured the studio vocalist Sabina Paola Galetti alias Eura, born 1961 in Bologna. Eura grew up in a large musical background, and her skills included rock, jazz and blues.

The single Beats Go included a Radio Edit, a Full Frequency Mix and a Hyp Mix. It was released in Italy under the label SPM Dance Division and was very succesful in Japan.

The follow-up Party All Night was also released under the label SPM Dance Division. It included a Euro mix, a Radio edit, a Club version and an Original Club version. The same year, D-vice contributed to Beatmatic's single The Final Countdown.

Bounce, an awesome eurodance track, released in 1995, featured 5 versions : an Airplay edit, a Basic edit, an Airplay Extended, a X-Out Remix and a Ziiozoo Remix. It was released in many countries : Belgium (Byte Records), Italy (Dig It), Japan (Avex Traxx), Holland (Arcade), Denmark, Bulgaria, Poland, Czecholslowakia, Russia, Turkey, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. It featured the voice of a new vocalist, Karin Mensah. D-vice was still the rapper.

In 2004, Karin Mensah was featured by Mix2Inside on the single Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel.

Janne and Johan aka Bass Nation began as inhouse producers and songwriters at Stockholm Records back in 1992. They were highly involved in many eurodance projects in Sweden, such as Cool James and Black Teacher and Flexx.

After that, Johan and Janne founded the productioncompany and publishing house United Nation Publishing were they worked with artists such as Blümchen, Leila K, Boy George, E-Type, Drömhus, Tess, Markoolio, Caramell and Balsam Boys.

In 2000 the duo founded the company Mobilehits, and by that has given people the opportunity to download some of the latest hits as a ringtones to their cellphones. Under these years they have also been working a lot with one of Swedens most popular artist Markoolio and have produced many of his latest hits.

Nowadays, Johan works at Spotify and Janne owns a design company

Bass Reflex is a Eurodance project from Romania founded by Mircea Presel (X-Mann) in 1993. The most popular songs are Go Away, Fall In Love, Get the Real Thing (feat. U-Nite). The group released one album, but only as a cassette and it's very hard to find.

Bass Reflex appeared for the first time on the first official Romanian dance compilation called Techno Dance Party I - Made in Romania (only available on cassette) in 1996, along with bands like T-Short, U-Nite, Double D etc.

Later Mircea participated to the band Ro-Mania, then to Proiect K1, transformed after the first album into K1.

Swedish singer, songwriter, producer and disc jockey Jonas Erik Altberg was born on December 22nd, 1984 in Halmstad (Sweden). His dad Karl Göran Altberg worked in a construction company and his mum Gunhild Elisabet Altberg was a teacher and head of a secondary school. He has a younger brother called Joakim. They grew up near Tylösand beach. In 1998 he started singing in a choir run by his mother. Later he sang in a rock band. In 2001, after six months of learning Fruity Loops studio, he began producing music under the stage name Basshunter.

His first album The Bassmachine was released on 25 August 2004 under Alex Music. In 2006, he self-published on his webpage a digital album entitled The Old Shit.

Jonas published online his song Boten Anna in March 2006, and success was massive : the day after, it had been already downloaded 37,000 times ! In April, he signed with Extensive Music and Warner Music Sweden, and on May 9th, Boten Anna was officially released as a single, going #1 in Sweden and Denmark. His album, LOL was released on 28 August.

Follow-up single was Vi Sitter I Ventrilo Och Spelar DotA. Meaning "We Sit in Ventrilo and Play DotA" (Ventrilo is a VoIP software, and DotA is a multiplayer online battle video game), it was once again very successful. It went #2 in Finland, #6 in Sweden and #7 in Norway and Denmark. Melody was inspired from Daddy DJ.

Still in 2006, next single Hallå där was released. Then came Vifta med händerna, a collaboration with featured by Patrik & Lillen duo. Fifth single was a remake of classic Xmas theme Jingle Bells. He won Eurodanceweb Award for Boten Anna.

On November 5th 2007 Basshunter released a new version of the Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA under shorter title DotA and it charted in Germany. In December, came Now You're Gone, a new version of Boten Anna with new lyrics in English. It topped UK Singles Chart and was also #1 in Ireland, #6 in France and #2 in Sweden

In 2007 too, he did remixes for ESC candidate Verka Serduchka's single Dancing Lasha Tumbai, for Alex C's Du hast den schönsten Arsch der Welt, for Loituma's Ieva's Polka (Ievan Polkka) and for Dr. Bombay's Calcutta 2008.

2008 : a new album was released on 1 January, with the same songs from the original LOL album, but with lyrics or just titles translated into English. Some new tracks were included : Now You're Gone, Russia Privjet, The Beat, Jingle Bells (Bass), Beer in the Bar and Club Mix of DotA. Next single Please Don't Go was a cover of KC and the Sunshine Band song from 1979. Then came All I Ever Wanted (again the Daddy DJ cover) on June 7th, Angel in the Night on 8 September and I Miss You on 14 December. He contributed to charity event Cash for Kids

2009 : on 5 April single Walk on Water was released. Every Morning was released on 18 September, a few days before brand new studio album Bass Generation. In November, single I Promised Myself (a cover of a Nick Kamen) hit the stores.

2010 : he competed in hit reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother in January. He also appeared in the British edition of Fort Boyard and the Weakest Link. He released single Saturday in July

2011 : the next Basshunter single was named Fest i hela huset and it was recorded it for the Big Brother Sweden series. It went #5 on the Swedish singles chart.

2012 : he released singles Northern Light and Dream on the Dancefloor (slightly inspired from Gigi d'Agostino's L'Amour Toujours). Then, album The Early Bedroom Sessions (a collection of his early tracks and demo songs) was released on 3 December.

2013 : Basshunter released his new album Calling Time. Then came the singles Crash & Burn in June and Calling Time in September. In November, single Elinor was out. Then he announced that he did a pause on his vocal career to focus on his DJing, production and songwriter career.

Bastrik aka Dorian Gray was born and raised in Montepulciano. He started his carreer in 1987 under stage name Dorian Gray, releasing several singles, such as Vogue and Cry.

First single to be released under alias Bastrik 99 was All I Want. It featured a solo female vocalist and was mastered by Zui (aka Marco Inzadi). Vocals on World's Flow were done by Francesca Messina. Lyrics were written by Bastrik (aka Dorian Gray) and Beatrice Magnanensi, music was composed by Franco Nardi and Massimo Bani. Single was arranged and mixed by Bastrik 99 and Max Bani.

Salvatore Battiato is a DJ and producer. He is known under many names : DJ Sally B, DJ Sonic Force, DJ Slick Sal, DJ Josh Keeper... As a DJ, he worked in many discos, mainly in Germany : the Golden Gate in Bad Dürrheim, Dream in Villingen-Schwenningen, See-Studio, Peppermint and Red Rooster in Böblingen, and many more...

He started his producer career in 1987 and released some megamixes. In 1990 he created along with a friend the Zentral Studio in Saarbrücken, and co-produced singles for groups such as Sound Technicians, Computerwelt, UMASCUS (today known as LOFT), Sell Out, as well as Brenda Hale's Rain (Brenda Hale was known to have covered Snap's Mary Had A Little Boy under the name Stax).

In 1994 he started collaborating with Fresh Records in Zürich. The result were the singles The Time Is Right by DJ Filo and, with MMS Music the single Move Your Way by Amadeus & The Funky Diamonds with Lila Pearl.

In 1995 he created with a new partner the Netzwerk Studio in Calw. He worked with B-Real (Music Is My life, Got To Get On Love), Beatproduction (Tell It To My Heart, once again with Brenda Hale as vocalist), Natural Sonic (Land of Fantasy with vocals by Lila Pearl) and also did a remix for House of Pain.

In 1998 he founded with 2 other producers Bildersheim and Muhlhauser the label Sub Division Record. The same year he also created BBM Music Publishing. He produced many artists such as B. "Godfather" Blackpower and Key To My Heart by Funky Racoon..

He also worked for other studios, such as the K-Town Studio (known for producing the projects Down Low and Jamboo).

This eurodance track featured vocals by a singer called Petra. Hold On was written by Björn Stigsson and Andreas Rickstrand, whom also did the mixing and engineering. He's been teaching at the University College Ghent, Faculty of Music and Drama (Conservatory) for 9 years.He also works as a vocal coach and as an artist and band coaching. He also contributed to the projects and artists Wim De Craene, Johan Verminnen, Isabelle A, The Dinky Toys, Blue Blot, Soulsister, Technotronic and recently Dean, winner of Idols 2007, Flemish edition, but also Dutch artists like René Froger, Bløf, Volumia!, Xander de Buisonjé, Sylvia Samson, and American or international artists like Rufus Thomas, Stanley Wade (The Trammps), Viola Wills, Johny Logan, etc. He collaborated with Peter Gillis, Phil Wilde, Ronald Vanhuffel and Wilfried Van Beveren.

Created by the DJ Ronaldo Gasparian. The name Be Positive stands for B+, it’s Ronaldo Gasparian’s blood type. The first single was Stay (With Me Tonight) released in the end of 1996. A great hit that got into some compilations. Two versions were released, a Radio version and an Extended version. The second single was Give Our Love A Chance, released in 1999. This is what you can call a beautiful song, not only the arrangements but also the lyrics are really great ! Another hit that also got into some compilations.

The voice behind the songs is Patricia Zane (aka Patê). Before getting into Be Positive, she worked as hostess in some Dance Clubs in Brazil. Four female singers were tried, but Patê was the one that Ronaldo was looking for !

A new single is gonna be released soon, but with a new singer...

The face of the project was Helena Springs. She was a childhood friend from producer Régis Ducatillon, while the voice belonged to a studio vocalist. The single Feel It Alright was produced by Régis Ducatillon (also producer for Trance X Ppress, X-Kameron, Jocko, Latino Bazar, Blake Amado and D-Trax), Fabrice Nyiri, and François-Xavier Legleye. Swiss composer, remixer and producer Beat Paul has been working in Paris, Zurich and Brooklyn (NY). In 1990, he created with his partner Franklin Fischer the company Paul+Fischer Prod. and the Publishing Company Bumtchak Music (SUISA). Beat Production is a german project. Their name is sometimes written Beatproduction. The rapper of the project was named MC Cool (Joseph Anderson). Several female vocalist were part of the group. The project was produced by Michael Bauer.

The singles were released under Manifold Records Music & Marketing/EAMS.

Trance Turns Me On, released in 1994, featured the vocals of Larissa Gerhardt.

Brenda Hale sung on Tell It To My Heart, which was released in collaboration with the producer and DJ Salvatore Battiato.

The Beat Is My Life was used once again Brenda's voice. This single was recorded at Manifold Studio Augsburg (Germany). It appeared on the compilation Mega Dance Mix II.

MC Cool also appeared on Hip Optimist's single Anafey.

Feel The Beat (1996)

The Beat Society project comes from Switzerland. It features the male rapper Guri Schwarz and the female vocalist Zana from London.

Guri started in 1990 by rapping in the group P27 in Swissgerman language. When Eurodance appeared, Guri wanted to try that too. He got some support from P27's ex-manager and collegue. Domenico Livrano from E-Rotic helped out too.

Their one and only single Feel The Beat, was released in 1996 under the label Boost Records.

Single contained 4 versions (Radio Mix, Rave Mix, Extended Mix and Instrumental). Music was composed by Udo Fern, Stefan Nussbaum and Susan Eschbach. Lyrics were written by Guri Schwarz and Daniel Baumberger. It was arranged by Domenico Livrano (famous for his work with E-rotic). Urs Wiesendanger also contributed to this very nice eurodance track. More songs were written and recorded (such as System Machinery and Party), but they were never released. System Machinery was also recorded by a project called La Poche, without raps, and available on compilation only. The woman who can be seen on the CD cover is not Zana, but a former singer of DJ Bobo.

2 musicvideo versions were shot for the single. Actually they made two different version under RMG Records. 3D animation were done by Christian Jenni and camera by Andy Wolf. They did 3-4 big live appearances : in Spiez (Switzerland), Paris, Köln (Popcom) and on TV (Sat1 and Pro7).     

Nowadays, Guri produces Hip Hop and electro, mainly for DefCut, that he also manages. He still raps, appearing for instance of on DefCut's track Electro Zone 2000 that he co-produced with him. He worked on on some Hip Hop samplers too, and mixed jingles for radio stations.

Beat System featured performers Neal Antone Dyer (Tony T), born in London in 1971, as rapper, and various female vocalists (Martina Sres, Patty, Jay Babe, G. Fascina...). They released 5 singles, under Intercord label, all of them very succesful in Germany and Western Europe.

Their first single Dance Romance was released in 1994, in 2 versions (called chapters). The vocals were done by Patty. It was arranged and written by C. Kowatsch and Wormit, mixed By Richard Taylor.

Stay With Me, their best single, was written and produced by Axel Breitung and C. Kowatsch, produced by Black Nero, released in 1995. Vocals were probably done by Christine Eiben.

The following singles were produced by C. Kowatsch, Wormit and Ulrich Dienes. In March 1996 an "euro-rap" combination called Fresh was out : a cover of the Kool and the Gang hit, with raps of Tony T and vocals of G. Fascina, including a B-side entitled Call My Name. A summer-remixes CD was released in June.

The same year was released Reggaenight, a cover of the Jimmy Cliff hit. The single was recorded still with Tony T, but with the vocalist Jay Babe. Jay Babe (her real name is Janet Puzic) had been living with Tony T since 1994. They met during the summer of 1994 in Düsseldorf in a Disco called Rheingoldsaal. Janet was born in 1972 in the bosnian part of Sarajevo. She had come to Düsseldorf in 1992 to make studies of anglistic and media science.

Their last single to be released was What's Going On in March 1997, with a remixes CD released 2 months later. The same year, a very confidential and rare album was released : it was called Refreshiator.

Another Beat System project, produced in Germany too, released an eurodance single called Lights Of America.

And a third project with the same name, absolutely not related, released some singles such as Don't Hold Back On Love (1990), To A Brighter Day, or The Noise Dance.

A fourth one, produced by Adams and Fleisner production (Video Kids, Digital Emotion, X-Ray Connection), released a single called Protect This Beat.

The Beatmatic project got off the ground a few years ago with the first single The Final Countdown, a cover of the hit song by Europe. With their new single With You Again, Beatmatic proposes a track with the characteristic sound of sung Italian House. The single represents another collaboration between producers Simon Maccari and Ciccio (pronounced "chichio") Terrana and singer Pamela Falcon.

Pamela Falcon is an artist who can boast of a variety of experiences in house music in addition to a rich background as a vocalist for artists of such calibre as Antrax, Paul McCartney (Wings), B.O.C., Richie Havens, Cheap Trick and Rainbow as well as roles in many important musicals on tour throughout Europe.Originally from N.Y., Pamela has lived in Germany for the past several years.

Italy, or more precisely Carpi near Modena, is home to the studio of her producers Simon Maccari and Ciccio Terrana (Ziiozoo Team).In recent years, the pair have unleashed a notable series of dance products which have made a name for themselves worldwide, including Just an Illusion (Illusion), I Say a Little Prayer (D.M. Johnson) and Beats Go (Bass Expanders) to mention but a few, conceived after the team's original collaboration with Black Box which lasted several years.

The track This Is Your Dream was used in the soundtrack of a German-French movie entitled Vivre Me Tue (Life Kills Me). It was published in France under the label Feel Good Production, distributed by Next Music. Featuring vocals by DD Klein, it was written by M. Maccari, F. Terrana, D. Coristi and D. Clyne, arranged and mixed by ZIIOZOO Productions in Carpi (Italy).

This eurodance boys project produced by Ato Yankah, often in collaboration with the Bermann Brothers, started in 1995 with the single You Make Me Believe In Magic, published in February 1995 under the label WEA, also released the same year by Stanley Foort. Then in August came the single If You Were Mine, with a B-side called Everytime.

The members of the group are Daniel Aminati (a former soccer player, jazz dancer and model, who used to be one of K2's dancers), David Jost, Florian Walberg, and Kofi Ansuhenne.

The third single was entitled Stay Together, with a B-side called Christmas Without You, which was featured on various compilations. It peaked #40 in the Swiss charts. 1996 was a very productive year for them, with not less than 3 singles released and one album, called In Your Face. Unfortunately this album, released under WEA Records, contained mainly slow ballads in the Backstreet Boys style.

In 1996, Daniel Aminati released a solo single Turn Me Up, produced by the Bermann Brothers.

Apart from their singles, they also released a promo CD including 7 tracks. They also did a collective single with the project Sqeezer and Mola Adebisi in 1997. The single was released under EMI Music. Daniel released a second solo single called Want You Back, produced by Matthias Hass and Holger-Julian Copp.

1998 : David Jost wrote lyrics for Sqeezer's singles Wake Up! and Without You.

2002 : Daniel Aminati became a moderator on the TV channel Onyx TV.

2003: Daniel Aminati played a role in the movie "Planet B. Mask under Mask".

2007 : David Jost was among the producers behind Tokio Hotel's hit singles Schrei, Durch Den Monsun and Rette Mich. Daniel Aminati has been working as a moderator in the TV Info show Galileo since August 2006. Florian Walberg is still in the music business, he works as a songwriter and a singer. Kofi Ansuhenne released a single entitled Your Sox under the name Kofinger, he also writes songs or other artists.

2009 : in May, Daniel Aminati released a solo single in German entitled Wie Keiner Dieser Herrn (As Nobody Else).

This eurodance project was created in Bratislava (Slovakia) and made of three sexy vocalists. They released a very nice eurodance song Gimme in 1996 under the label Opus. The CD maxi included other two euro tracks Take My Heart and Living In A World Of Sunshine. All songs were written by the Swiss authors G. Jacobs and D. Peyer. Unfortunately Bee M weren't popular in Slovakia, but in Czech republic they had big success.
