Rodney Bishop biography

Born 19th December 1966 in Lambeth (South of London), he began very young to learn classing dance, jazz, and african dance, then break dance. When he was aged of 20, he went to London in order to become a professionnal dancer. Former member of Positive Gang (and according to some people, of Anticappella... at least he appeared in 2√231 official video), he became Cappella's rapper from 1993 to 1997. With the latest Cappella Album release U R My Baby, Rodney could taste the last bit of Cappella. He wanted to start his own carreer and to make his own productions. He released a solo single in 1999.

Raps on the new album Cappella released in Japan were not done by Rodney, but by theproducer/writer Pagani. Rodney was already busy with several projects like Perpetual Motion which has already hit the top 20 in the UK and the number one spot in the Dutch clubs with the song Keep On Dancing (Let's Go). This song uses the same sample as the classic club anthem Watch Me Now by Grooveyard.

Rodney used to live in London then in Kent. He presents himself as a funny and cool man, whose only weakness in to be always late. He loves eating quite every kind of food, particularly the Jamaican meals his mother is preparing. But he hates eggs. He has a huge CD collection, particularly thanks to Media Records that gave him all the new releases. He admires Bob Marley and Martin Luther King who gave his life for the Black's cause. He likes DJing and cooking. For him the worst thing is ignorance. He hates liars. What he appreciates most in a woman is her sense of humor. He loves koalas. His favourite song is Go And See The Doctor by Fresh Prince, his favourite film is Oliver Twist. He likes watching boxe challenges on the TV but doesn't boxes himself. He prefers wearing large and comfortable clothes and has pantys from Marks & Spencer. His favourite colour is green. He drives a Renault 5 turbo and a Ford Popslar.

Rodney lives nowadays in London.
