West Inc biography

Producer: Erik "Stattik" Svensson. Members : Horpe (Henrik Westman), Doggy (Johan Eriksson), Barneth (Mikael Lindqvist) and Pärra (Stefan Persson).

Based in Märsta, they played Westcoast rock from 1991 to 1993. The first single Set Your Body Free was released because the boys in the band got a contract with a records company. Then in 1994 their female vocalist left and was replaced by Mimmi Ziegel from Stockholm. The first single to be recorded with Mimmi's voice was Rhythm Takes You Higher, a cooperation between EMI and Statikk, and shortly after, You Are My Lover. Videoclips were shot for both singles, as well as for I'm Gonna Get You (Anyway). Mimmi left the band in 1995 and was replaced by Marina. Her voice can be heard on the singles Bright Eyes (a cover of a song performed Art Garfunkel), Key Of Life and The Wonder.

West Inc made some tours, for example in Sundsvall where the radio station SR P3 (which is largest public service network in this country) recorded a live-concert given at Club Pipeline on the 3rd of February 1995. During this concert, they sung the songs Rhythm Takes You Higher, 2 versions of I'm Gonna Get You, Mr. Livingstone, as well as 3 previously unreleased songs : Vision In Your Hand, The Voice, and Principal Sense.

After West Inc, they changed their name to Dominoo but has now ceased with all music production.

A collection of unreleased songs (a capture of a live version of The Voice), covers (Gazebo's I Like Chopin, Culture Beat's Mr. Vain, Maxx's Get Away) and even a Dominoo track (Doctor) leaked under title The Album (with a photoshopped sleeve of Mr Livingstone) or The Ultimate Collection.
