Twist biography

Twist was a teenage women Mexican group created in 1998. The members were Tabatha (formerly from the project Jeans), Natalia Lafourcade and Pamela, aged between 16 and 18. Pamela used to take part to the TV show "La hora de los chavos" on TV Azteca.

Their only, self-titled album was recorded in Spain, released under Sony Music Entertainment Mexico. This group was sponsored by TV Azteca, but it wasn't successful enough. For this reason the group finally dissolved after only one year. However they launched their best singles Late Mi Corazón and Hello, Hello. There were rumors that Natalia Lafourcade was not interested in dancing and singing on a group, she preferred doing a solo carrer, with guitar, and this is what she did afterwards : she is now a pop-rock singer.

2002 : Spanish singer and actress Elena Rivera made a cover of Hello, Hello under the name Bienvenida, and Dance under the name Locos Por El Ritmo on her album Locos Por El Ritmo, a dance album.

2005 : Mexican actress and singer Danna Paola covered Late Mi Corazón on her album Chiquita Pero Picosa.
