TIO biography
Chicago-based eurodance project T.I.O. started as Rhythm Boyz House from 1991 to 1992, and released 2 songs : Babylon Groove and Feel The Music. Then they discovered eurodance and launched the project T.I.O. featuring Melanie (T.I.O. stood for Turn It Out). The project involved rapper M.C. Roc and singer Melanie Turner
They released an album, Breaking Away in 1996, produced by Ken Chatman, Raymond Turner and Robert Turner, featuring backing vocals by Cynthia Turner, David Wiliams, Harold Tillman, Ken Chatman, Toya Turner. Then came a promo EP including the Earth Wind & Fire cover Let's Groove Tonight.
Then they changed their name to Groovetek
