Steffany V biography

Stefanie Vanderstraeten aka Stefanny V spent her childhood up in Hasselt (Belgium). In 1998, she participated in the Miss Belgium election and lost the crown to Tanja Dexters, another pop artist from Belgium. This event allowed everyone to noticed how multi-talented she was. In 1999, her first single Life Is A Wave was released under BMG Ariola Belgium NV/SA. It was composed by Tom Flemming, Patrick Renier and Jim Soulier, written, produced, recorded, arranged and mixed by Patrick Renier and Jim Soulier.

Her second single All For Me was written, composed and produced by Xsession team Flip Vanderputte, Gene Thomas and Wim Claes, released in 2000. It was more successful, and radio Donna decided to use it as the opening track for its live show tour, the Donna Zomertoer. Stefanny V toured extensively across Belgium with Donna as well as with the Vengaboys among others.

She strengthened her career with her third single "Turn away", which received much airplay on Donna and on TV1. In 2001, she got a guest appearance part on the TV serie "Costa".

Stefanie Vanderstraeten nowadays lives in Brussels. She works as a commercial manager for B-food.
