Star Machine biography

Star Machine is a Eurodance project from Poland, created in 1996. The project is usually fronted by a pretty blond girl, but her name is unknown (she looks like actress Weronika Książkiewicz). Star Machine are best known for their songs Come With Me, Beats In My Head, and Come On.

Star Machine started sometime during 1996. They are said to have recorded an album called Teddy Bear, but it is unknown when this album was released. It is believed to have gathered songs like Back!, Eh Eh (Cool Boy), and Why Don't You Dance. It is also believed that the album may have contained earlier versions of songs like Star Machine (Mis 2) (which literally means 'mix 2'), and Teddy Bear (MIs '97) (Red Road Mix), which may've been titled as Star Machine and Teddy Bear.

During late 1996, production began for the album Beats In My Head, which was finished by early 1997. It was recorded and mixed at Star Maker Studios, engineered and arranged by Krzysztof Czub, produced and arranged by Jacek Kruszewski. Music was composed by C. Christ. Samples on Teddy Bear were taken from "Miś" movie (directed by Stanisław Bareja). Samples on No Action were taken from "Rejs" movie (directed by Marek Piwowski). It spawned many popular songs, such as Come With Me, Beats In My Head, Come On, and Check Your Feeling. Star Machine also dueted with D'Adekoya on a song called A Deeper Love, where Dariusz Adekoya did the vocals for the song. Sometime during 1997, Beats In My Head was released, probably only as a cassette, as no CD versions are known to exist.

During 1998, another song called Goodbye was released from Beats In My Head. Also during 1998, Star Machine released a new song to a Dance World compilation CD called I Run, My Love, I Run... Nothing further has been released with Star Machine that we know of, so it's assumed that Star Machine probably ended when Star Maker Studios shut down in 1998.
