Daniel Sous biography

Rapper and singer Daniel Sous started his carreer by releasing a few hip-hop and hip-house singles under names Sous and Daniel MC. In Italy, he first collaborated with the organist Bruno Marini and with Carmelo Tartamella and Bobby Durham, taking part to various concerts. He also wroked with Kusum, Funky Mama, The Funky Outsiders, Mini Blade to mention a few

He contributed to many Italian eurodance songs (mostly SAIFAM) without being credited. He also recorded more than 200 records for the most famous British stars. He worked with Paolo Andriolo and Denis Azor on the compilations "The Muchens" (for a television cartoon)

In 2000 he collaborated with Azzurra Music for Cristina Mazza's single Catch the Beat. He also recorded a Gospel Christmas album.

2004 : he started a collaboration with Al-b.band.

2007 : as Xikidi, he released a new album entitled U all my need.

2010 : he released studio album Back to Front under name Xikidi. A live Gospel DVD was recorded at the Teatro Salieri in Legnago, Verona

2011 : he contributed to another DVD, this time in Studio at the Musicinside in Modena. He also collaborated with Stephanie Ocean Ghizzoni (Alligator Nail) in the play "Please come to me Jesus".

2012 : with Mr. Stone aka Djah Stone he released a reggae album entitled Give me a little love.

2013 : he recorded album Walking in love under stage name Dan Xikidi. This album featured a few other artists, it included songs written by Dan himself as well as some Italian covers. Album was released in 2014.

2018 : with Anansi and Djah Stone he released album Exotic Sunset Bar.

He currently resides in Verona.
