Sentidos Opuestos biography

The project was founded by Miguel Blasco in the early '90s, featuring the performers Alessandra Rosaldo and Chacho Gaytán. Alessandra Rosaldo (born Alejandra Sánchez Barrero on September 11, 1971 in Mexico City ) started singing at the age of 12, soon becoming a backup singer for Latin star Lucero. She was also starred in a children's movie. At age 19 she met with Chacho Gaytán at an airport, since then they've become great friends.

They released a self-titled debut album in 1993 uner EMI Capitol, produced by José Ramón Florez, getting their songs Historias De Amor and Escribeme En El Cielo climbing on local charts. Historias De Amor is a cover of the Spanish techno pop group OBK. One year later, Sentidos Opuestos recorded Al Sol Que Mas Calienta, once again produced by José Ramón Florez, and recorded in Madrid (Spain). They then moved to Barcelona (Spain), to record Viviendo Del Futuro, produced by Eduardo Posada and released in 1996. A version of the song Fiesta called Soñadoras was used as a theme for the Mexican soap opera "Soñadoras".

After issuing Viento A Favor in 1998, Chacho Gaytán began working as a producer and arranger while Alessandra Rosaldo was making her debut as an actress in a soap opera called "Sueños de Juventud". aka "DKDA", being awarded best debut actress with the TVyNovelas Award.

2000 : Sentidos Opuestos were back with a new album called Movimiento Perpetuo.

2001 : an album entitled En Vivo was released. Produced by Guillermo "Memo" Gil, it was the recording of a live they performed at Six Flags Mexico. Alessandra appeared in the telenovelas "Aventuras En El Tiempo" and "Salomé".

2002 : Alessandra released the solo album Alter ego.

2004 : Alessandra appeared in the telenovela "Amarte es mi Pecado".

2005 : they released 2 double compilations or their greatest hits : Original Masters and 40 Éxitos.

2006 : Alessandra released her second solo CD Rompecorazones

2008 : she became host of a new game show on the Telefutura television network called "Dame la Pista" which is now cancelled.

2009 : Alessandra announced on her Myspace that she was working on a new CD.

2012 : Sentidos Opuestos are back with a new single entitled Dime. In June they released a new album called Zona Preferente, with all their hits and three news songs.
