Jackie Sangster biography

Jackie Sangster was born in London on 18th November 1974. She currently lives in Amsterdam. Her motto in life is : "All dreams come true". The three most important things for her are her dog, her soulmate, and music.

As a dancer touring in clubs in Ibiza, London, Germany and Italy, she developed her love for music. Writing was never a passion at first, but Jackie was told a story of how Phil Collins wrote his lyrics, and was inspired to write her first song. She presented to an A&R, he took that very first song, and presented it to the Eurovison contest committee, because he believed the song had great potential.

Since 2001 she's been the new Culture Beat female vocalist. Peter Ries had given her phone number to Frank Fenslau, who invited her for an audition. Jackie had never heared of the project before. He was so amazed by her vocal skills that the contract was ready the same day. Culture Beat appears for her as "a creative business hopefully bringing songs which will touch peoples heart". Her favourite song from this project is Rendez-Vous.

2002 : on the 29th of August, Jackie released a disco-house solo single called Knocking On Wood. It's a cover of a song originally written by Eddy Floyd in 1967.

2003 : she released a solo single entitled Redesign Your Life under alias Jakilin

2004 : Jakilin's new solo singles were Mission, Silent Please, Sex Tales and Be With You

2005 : he new single was entitled In My Dreams
