Prophet biography

American rapper/singer (real name George E. Jones, aka Sir Prophet Of Funk) was born in Detroit, Michigan, and came to Germany in 1989.

He was the choreographer and male voice of Mr President's Up' N Away in 1994.

The project Prophet was produced by Alexander Hawking (well-known for his contribution to Pharao) and Sven The "Bass". The music was composed by Prophet himself with Alexander Hawking & Professor. The lyrics were written once again by Prophet and Alexander Hawking. The single was engineered by Steff Hummel and released under edition: "Planet Thump" / BMG UFA / Hawking Copyright Control.

In 1996, George contributed to Cribb 199's songs No Panic - No Stress and Come Near This - Don't Fear This.

He then started a carreer of fitness trainer. In 2001, he appeared as a coach in real-TV show Big Diet. He also hosted his own show, "Come On Baby" on DSF, the German sport channel. He introduced Billy Blanks' Tao Bo training method in Germany, developing it into his "G-Moves". In 2003, he released his first fitness DVD, Personal Power Training - Get Fit 'n' Smile (vol. I), which achieved gold status. Then came Vol. II in 2013, and Hip Hop Boxing Workout in 2014

He wrote monthly columns for Glamour magazine, and also in the “Big Brother” real-TV show to train the residents. He also brought his fitness methods to his home country, and even opened a boxing studio in America. He works as a DJ and MC for Star Trax, the American production firm, in both Detroit and Cologne.
