Lona Dee biography

Lona Dee is a German project of the company Edel Records built around actress and vocalist Isabel Florido. The producer and musical team around this track included Frank Bülow (who also contributed to some tracks of ATC, Culture Beat and Nina), Bernd Breiter and Rainer Kempf.

Isabel was born in 15 January 1971 in Zürich, Switzerland, from an Italian mother and a Spanish father. She speaks 5 languages fluently (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish). She attended the London Musical School Studio Centre where studied dance and dramatic art, and played in the musical Hair. Between 1994 and 1997, she played along with Marco Rima and Karsten Speck in the musical "Keep Cool"

The name of Lona Dee comes from a character she interpreted in German TV soap "Unter Uns" between 1995 and 2000. The song Memories was used for the TV soap. She later released 2 other singles which did not have that much success.

1997: she played a role in SK Babies on RTL.

2000: She appeared in Die Wache on RTL.

2005: she appeared in Moonlight Mountain and in BloodBound

2006: she played a role in the movie "Handy Man"

She nowadays works as a coach.
