Maurizio Lobina biography

Maurizio "Maury" Lobina was born in Asti on October 30th 1973. He started studying the piano at the age of 5 and got into his first band at the age of 10. He grew up listening to all kinds of music and playing practically everything from house to reggae. His younger brother Luca is a photograph.

He used to be a member of band Vitanova but the other members did not share is love for dance music. He met Roberto Molinaro in 1991 "thanks to some girlfriends in common" as Maurizio explains. When Roberto discovered Marurizio's pianist skills, he invited him to a new studio based in Torino. But once again, this did not work because the band which recorded there were not into dance music.

He became one of Bliss Co. musicians and producers, famous also for his long and fast fingers. He had to leave during a short time in 1994 to do military service. He was also in charge of the A/R Dept.

He contributed to eurodance projects Bliss Team and Sangwara. He is mostly famous for being one of the 3 members of Eiffel 65.

He dedicated Eiffel 65 song Viaggia Insieme A Me to his son.

2005 : with Jeffrey Jey, he founded project Bloom 06.

2010 : he revived Eiffel 65 and tours in 90s shows and festivals.
