07/04/2011 : Kandystand re-released their single Everybody to help Red Cross effort In Japan. 25% of each sale is donated directly to the Red Cross.

08/06/2009 : The video for the new Kandystand single will be shot next week. They are currently arranging remixes for the release package. 15/04/2009 : Kandystand are currently in the studio recording their next single, an electro dance cover of a song originally sung by Madonna. The title has not been revealed yet. American radio KNHC Seattle are currently running a 'Kandystand Giveaway' for Love Invasion, where you can win copies of the single. More infos on their website

Kandystand biography

Kandystand is a eurotrance project coming from UK. It was created by Alodis, composer and producer. Alodis is no newcomer in the music business, he's been making music since the 1980's. "Most of the time you'll find me in front of a keyboard with a pizza in one hand, and programming our latest tune with the other" he explains.

Kandystand features the voice of Katy D. Katy, of Swedish descendency, used to live in various mediterranean countries. She used to be a radio presenter in London.

Their debut single was called Alone, out in February 2004 under Privileged Man Productions. Their first album was planned for summer 2004 but it was finally postponed. In April, Kandystand started a second month of presence on the EuroNrg Top 40.

In 2007 Kandystand decided to move to Holland. A new production company Team Hayward Media was set up to take care of the business side. The visual DJ and graphic designer Pants joined the team to take care of the visual design.

After 3 years, the debut album from Kandystand Watch Out Here I Come was finally released on the November 12th.

2009 : in March, they started working on their next single.
