Janal biography
Janal are Janina and Al Boom. Janina met AL when she was only 12 years old when they were members of DBX, he was a very close friend to AK SWIFT from Magic Affair... They started making music since then
Their single You Gotta Set Me Free was written by AL and JD, composed and produced by Buddy ST and Buddy JD, with collaboration of A.C. Hylton, in a studio near Cologne. It was co-produced and mixed by Armand Wolter. They got signed under Virgin Records and the video was shot in Scotland in September 1994. 2 months later, the single was released. It was not successful enough becaume Janina, since she was too young, was not allowed to do live performances in the evenings.
AL returned to the USA some years ago. Janina is still in the musical business.
