Il Maestro biography
Il Nuovo Stile is Italian for "The New Style" and was released in November 1995. The song was produced and mixed by P-Force & Miles Gordon. The amazing Italian rap was done by Antonio Calamita. It was licensed in Germany under Intercord. The vinyl also contained one version of the song Dolce Vita.
Rapper Tony Calamita aka Master Ti was Born in Bari, South Italy in 1973 where he grew up listening to dance and pop sounds on the radio. In 1990 he moved to Stuttgart in Germany and got addicted to the hip hop, rap and DJ cultures. He released 2 singles as Master Ti : Mare Mare (a dance song about beach and summer feelings) and Amico Mio, (a song about friendship, featuring backing vocals by Patrizia Valentino). Amico Mio was released in the same time when Warren G & Nate Dogg' Regulate, so the producers P-Force and Miles Gordon used the same sample of Michael McDonald I Keep Forgettin. This led Tony to popularity and reputation in the German-Italian scene.
In 1994 Tony began DJing in the discotheque Flic Flac in Gerlingen/Stuttgart, laying the foundation for Supernotte, the Italian dance party that soon became the most successful in Germany.
The team P-Force & Miles did also remix two tracks on Captain Hollywood - Over & Over maxi in 1996.
In September 2013 Master Ti got his own radioshow called "Supernotte-Radio" on Italian Radio Studio 54 Firenze (Tuscany).
Thanks to Vision and Tony Calamita himself
