Stella Getz biography
Half-Nigerian, half- Swedish Stella Getz was born in Trondheim, Norway. She sent demos to every record company and got signed under Mega Records. Lars E. Ludvigsen, Mikkel S. Eriksen composed and co-wrote Friends with her. Stella made her first public appearance performing first single, Friends, in 1993 on the norwegian TV-show Casino. Following her massive success, "Norway's first lady of dance" was believed to become the biggest norwegian musical export since A-ha. She did have a few hits in other countries, like Israel and Germany, suwh as Dr Love (a remixes CD was even released). She toured with Dr Alban and 2 Unlimited, and also did a duet with Elisabeth Andreassen.
Ta Di Di Boom was remixed by the Bass Bumpers. Get A Grip was produced by Rob 'N' Raz.
In 1995, she was engaged to singer Espen Lind.
