Fun-Tomas biography

Fun-Thomas' real name is Tomas Friedrich. He was born August 1st 1958 in Berlin (Germany). Tomas started his carreer in the 80s by releasing pop songs in German under his real name. He also took part to the bands Panama Club and Sugar Brothers.

China Girl was his first release under the alias Fun-Thomas. The song included Chinese female vocals and a male singer who sings in English. Music was composed by Fun-Tomas and Kid Capelli, texts were written by Fun-Tomas. It was produced by Matiz, Fun-Tomas and Capelli. The single included a B-side entitled You Will Never See Me Again which was produced by Fun-Tomas alone. Label : Akropolis Musik & Film GmbH. It appeared on the German compilation Bravo Hits 5 in 1993. China Girl was also covered by Raffa under the title China Boy.

Then came Kung Fu Dancing in 1994, a collaboration with Carl Douglas.

A second song entitled Mallorca was presented afterwards. The sound was rather euro-reggae, perfect for a summer song. It is not sure wether it was released or not

In 1997, What A Feeling was released as promo only

Under the name Tomas De Niero he wrote a song for Nino de Angelo : Ich Bin Dein Vampir.
