Vittorio Fraja biography
Singer, guitar player, piano and keyboard player Victor Fraja was born Vittorio Fraja in Rome - Italy. He began singing and playing guitar since as was a young boy. At age of 13, he started performing live, which lead him to play and sing with various local and foreign artists, such as Mauro Pagani and Tempi Duri of Cristiano De Andre. He obtained his solfege diploma from Verony Conservatory in 1984 and followed a course in Vocal Institute of Technology in Los Angeles in 1986. Back in Italy, he attended a training in computer music in 1988. He became a professional around 1990.
Along with the band Bad Company, he composed, arranged and recorded the album La Strada Del Cielo. Single Solidi Fragili aired on several national radios. He also performed on many television shows and show-cases.
In 1990 Vittorio Fraja started teaching singing based on a personal approach. He worked several years at the Centro Studi Musicali di Verona. He also started teaching guitar.
Meanwhile, since 1992, he's been working in live entertainment in big hotels, cruise lines and exclusive piano bar. Between 1992 -1994 he worked during the summer season at the Grand Hotel Don Juan (4 stars) in Giulianova (italy).
In 1994, he became a recording studio session musician in famous records companies in Northern Italy : SAIFAM, Union, Time Records, Energy... He became the voice of many projects and artists, such as Chou Project, Orlando, Robin and Patrick Victorio, performing a huge number covers and original songs.
In 1995, he recorded 3 songs for the compilation Happy Xmas Compilation : Happy Xmas, Oh Happy Day and Last Christmas.
From 1995 to 2001, he worked as an entertainer piano bar at many places on Lake Garda, including Taitù (Garda), Papillon (Garda), Primo (Bardolino), Hollywood (Bardolino), and Verona (Berfi's, Alter Ego, Piano Bar Rialto, Hollywood) and many others. Abroad, he could be seen on the Full Moon Club East Coast Beach (Singapore) and cruise ships with the company Costa Crociere.
2000 : he recorded 2 cover songs that were published on a compilation entitled Bum Bum Compilation : Mambo N. 5 and Maria (Un Dos Tres)
2003 : he worked as a piano bar pianist at the Westin Grande Sukumvit in Bangkok, Thailand.
2006 : he recoded many songs for a compilation Football World Cup 2006 released under name Various Artists Interpreted By A.M.P. The same year, he performed a few covers (Bad Day, Welcome to My Life) for another compilation : Pop Rock Masters! the Best Versions..., Vol. 5. Then he recorded collective songs with Gianluca Anselmi, Pier Brigo and Stefano Paolini (La camisa negra, Bad day, High, Street of love, I just wanna live, Welcome to my life, Love generation, Let me love you, You're beautiful), which were released on compilation All the hits 2006.
2007 : for family commitments (he had a baby daughter), Vittorio decided to suspend work contracts abroad to return to teaching and entertainment area in Verona and Garda Lake. Since then, he's been working as singing teacher and voice coach at Gardaland Park and Europa Park.
2010 : he recorded the song Let Me Love You for the compilation Love Generation.
2011 : he began to work again on Cruise Ship Companies, such as Silja Lines and Costa Cruises, as piano bar entertainer and performing in his own shows.
2014 : Vittorio has being performing in China at Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe and Shangri-La, Tianjin, still as piano-bar entertainer.
