Pierre Feroldi biography

Famous for his collaboration with Gianfranco Bortolotti, Pierangelo Feroldi aka DJ Pierre was involved in several Italian releases back in the 80's and 90's. Every time there was a new release from Media Records or Italian Style Records, it was almost a guarantee to find Feroldi's name on the record. He made his first production in the early 80's producing artists like Paul Sharada, Rose (Elena Feretti) and Cappella.

He released a lot of singles under the names DJ Pierre and PF. In 1990 he started a collaboration with the mysterious Linda Ray, releasing singles under his complete name Pierre Feroldi : Movin Now, The Beat, Get Away, and Feel The Hit. Raps on Movin Now actually belonged to MC Action and were sampled from Mix Masters' 1989 single It's About Time, as for the female vocals, they were taken from Darcy Alonso's single Waited So Long, also released in 1989. As for Get Away, it used the voice of Michelle Goulet borrowed from the acapella on the B-side of her single Stop & Think (which was itself a Fire On Blonde cover)
