Krystyna Ferencowicz biography

Dancer and actress Krystyna Ferencowicz aka Bettina Antoni was born in Walbrzych, Poland but grew up in Crespin, France. She left her family to enter a models agency in Paris as she was only 17. In 1985, she was spotted by Stéphane Collaro and became a member of the Coco Girls, (a group of models well-known for their sexy appearances on TF1, the French first channel in the 80s and for their hit Ce Mec Est Too Much). She left in 1987 to appear in the French movie "On se calme et on boit frais à Saint-Tropez", and to become a dancer for Italian channel Italia 7 in the show Colpo Grosso under stage name Marika.

Then she became a dancer at the famous cabaret Crazy Horse Saloon from 1991 to 1995 under the name Cristy Balalaika. Afterwards, she did some modelling for Pierre Cardin during 3 years, founded a show agency called Krystal'inn Agence, and appeared in some TV shows ("Salut les artistes" on Antenne 2, "Fort Boyard" in 1996). She followed theater lessons at Domique Viriaud's between 1998 and 1999. She founded her own label Krysty Music in 1999 with Pascal Caubet.

She sung for eurodance project Kristy in 1994. Then recorded a house-garage duet entitled C’est la folie with soccer player Pascal Olmeta in 1996, followed by the soing Maillot Ou Pas Maillot which did not have any success. But her major breakthrough was the huge hit No Naggin with Froggy Mix.

In 2002, she wrote So Mad for the Loony Bin. The song, published under her own label (and composed by Pascal Caubet from Froggy Mix), was used as theme for real-TV show Loft Story season 2.

Then she started a solo carreer under the name B-tina, releasing a song inspired from Imagination's Illusion hit, in collaboration with Spike.S and one studio album, Laid Back in 2004. Krysty Music closed in 2006

2008 : she was among the cast of the movie The Last Hour, directed by her boyfriend Pascal Caubet.

2009 : she started working for Cristy Committee Club

2012 : Bettina refounded the Coco Girls with 3 new performers (Charlie, Ophélie and Perrine). She toured in France and Belgium. They recorded an album entitled Coco Loco which included a 2012 version of Ce Mec Est Too Much.

2015 : Bettina and Pascal Caubet started theater workshops in Valenciennes.
