Sharon Doorson biography

Singer, MC and songwriter Sharon Doorson aka Miss Cherry is based in Utrecht. She used to be a member of the girls project Raffish (created after the 2004 edition of real-TV show Popstars), along with Esri Dijkstra, Eva Simons (Ingrid Simons' daugther), Nora Dalal and Li-Ann. They released the single Plaything. In 2005 Raffish recorded a charity single after Asian tsunami disaster entitled Als Je Iets Kan Doen. In 2006, Raffish disbanded.

2008 : in May, Sharon released an album under Eatmusic.

2010 : Sharon became one of the 2 new members of Twenty 4 Seven, along with Li-Ann, one of her former Raffish co-members.

2011 : Sharon left Twenty 4 Seven to take part to real-TV show The Voice of Holland. She was eliminated during semi-final.

2012 : she got signed under Cloud 9 Music label and released solo single Fail in Love which sold gold in the Netherlands

2013 : her second single was entitled High On Your Love. This powerful song was originally meant for Rihanna. It ended #2 in Eurodanceweb Award 2013. Follow-up single was entitled Killer, from first studio album of the same name. Then came singles Can't Live Without You featuring Mischa Daniels in August and Run Run in September.

2014 : she starred in Dutch movie Heksen Bestaan Niet. She released single Louder.

2015 : Sharon's new single was entitled Electrify and it was chosen as 2015 LGBT students days anthem. Follow-ups were singles Something Beautiful, Dance, Dance, Dance and Something Good feat. Digitzz.

2017 : she released single Come To Me with singer Rochelle and rapper Rollan. She took part to The Big Music Quiz

2018 : Sharon's new single is entitled Drown in Love. In June, she gave birth to a baby girl called Maliya.

2019 : she released the single Peaches

2021 : she announced that she broke up with her boyfriend after 11 years of common life.

2022 : she appeared in real-TV show Secret Duets
