16/04/2017 : Former Djumbo project will finally release their first single as Frisz on April 17th. Song will be entitled Rainbow In the Sky and it's a cover of Paul Elstak's hit.

01/11/2016 : Last month, girls from Frisz (former Djumbo) posted that they started recording their new single.

31/01/2016 : Former Djumbo girls now found their third performer for their new project Frisz : Danique van Roosmalen.

08/07/2015 : Lotte Prijs announced that she was leaving Djumbo to start a solo carreer as a DJane, under stage name Miss Faith. Project will be renamed to Frisz. A new vocalist will be selected after a real-TV talent show entitled Eyahe Frisz zoekt jou!

14/02/2014 : Djumbo's new single is entitled Hands Up. Videoclip was produced by Smart Media Productions and it was shot in January at Partycentrum Bar Bowling Bistro in Valkenswaard, in the Netherlands.

21/06/2013 : Discover the videoclip of Djumbo's new single Lief en Verliefd.

10/05/2013 : Djumbo's new single will be entitled Lief en Verliefd and they just finished shooting the videoclip in Croatia.

Djumbo biography

Djumbo are Svenja (red-haired, born in November 1984), Lotte (the brunette, born in May 1984) and Lindsy (the blonde, born in November 1983). The 3 girls met in a dancing school in Eindhoven. Their musical tastes are quite common : Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Black Eyed Peas and Beyoncé. Their dancing and singing skills were spotted and that's how they became the membres of the Djumbo project. Their 2 first singles entered top 5 in their homeland and they succeeded, in less than 6 months, to become one of the most popular pop groups there. They sing in Dutch and English

2006 : their new single Boya Boya Bay was featured on the original motion soundtrack of the Dutch version of the movie Garfield 2. Then in November came the single Undercover.

2007 : Djumbo's new single was a summer euro-reggae track called Boy I Like Ya. In November, the follow-up single was released. It was called Dit Is Real. The second album of the project followed one week later.

2008 : Djumbo released a new single in April entitled Abracadabra. Then came Boyz & Girlz in September. The new album Magic was released on November 14th. They are starting a tour entitled Djumbo Magic Show

2009 : they took part to a series of TV quiz every sunday on Ned 3 entitled Kies Je Ster (means Pick your Star). Their new single is entitled Summertime in Dubai.

2010 : in August Djumbo released a new album and a single, both entitled Chase. Then came the single Sjans in October, and one motnh later another single called Ik word later Zwarte Piet.

2011 : After 7 years spent with Djumbo, Svenja left the project, being replaced in January by Samantha Klumper. They released SOS in June. The follow-up single was released in December, it was entitled Party On.

2012 : Djumbo's new single was a soccer-anthem entitled Kampioen Ole Olee. It used the melody of Boya Boya Bay.

2013 : Djumbo released a new single called Lief en Verliefd.

2014 : Djumbo's new single was entitled Hands Up

2015 : Lotte Prijs announced that she was leaving Djumbo to start a solo carreer as a DJane, under stage name Miss Faith. This was the end of Djumbo project which was renamed to Frisz. A real-TV talent show entitled Eyahe Frisz zoekt jou! was organized to cast the new third member

2016 : third Frisz performer is called Danique van Roosmalen. Together they tour kids festivals, singing Djumbo's hits
