Conexao Midi biography
Conexão Midi started in 1994 with Kate (vocals), Rogério de Carvalho (vocals), Flávio Medeiros (production, keyboards and vocals), Denis and Dadá. Mixing the international pop with the European dance music, they wrote their name on national and international dance scene, just like other Brazilian projects, like Sect, Karina, Gottsha, Any Second and Ricco Robbit.
The first hit by Conexão Midi was On Line Plus (1994) got the attention of FM Radio Stations all over Brazil, just after they presented the song on the stage of TV show Xou da Xuxa. The song turned Conexão Midi into the first Brazilian eurodance project. In 1996, Conexão Midi get the top of the charts again with the powerful Realidad, first released by the label Spotlight in more than 6 eurodance compilations in Brazil and an international one.
Then the lineup changed : the female vocalist was replaced by Karol Antunes and in 1996, the project was made of Karol, Flávio and Rogério.
Many other songs were recorded for Conexão Midi's first album. It was unfortunately never released.
2021 : they were back for good and released digitally the 90s album track Mystery.
2022 : A new single entitled Move Around was released in May
