COP biography

C.O.P. was a Brazilian project is from São Paulo province (Brazil). Members were 2 females singers, Vânia M, Ana Paula, and P.A. who worked on the lyrics, the sequencers and also did some vocals. They never released any single, only an E.P. and one self-titled album.

The E.P. was entitled Facts and contained 3 songs : The Stars Fall In Your Eyes (Fact-1), Amazing (Fact-2), and Surrender. It was produced by Ricardo Molina and Tico Fausto. Label was Spotlight (from Brazil). The album was recorded at Morgan Music Studio in 1996 and released under Morgan Music. Legend says that in 1995, the 2 vocalists died in a car crash and that this was the end of the project.

The 3 songs publisehd under Facts EP appeared on a 1998 promo compilation entitled Dance released under Brazilian label Captain Music, along with a 4th (previously unreleased) song entitled Cry A River. The ragga-rap parts on the version of Surrender included on this compilation were replaced by male vocals.
