Big Time biography

Big Time are the rapper AJ Soliter and the female vocalist Beatrice Ray. The group was established in 1994 by the German 28 years old Eurodance producer Stefan Rugheri. Their first single to be released was  Summertime Is Crazy, an eurodance-happy-summer track. It was composed and written by Jörgen Larsson. It reached top 40 in Belgium, Germany, Austria and Canada. It was also No.1 in Russia and Brasil.

Then, a year after, the second single Superman was released. Why so late ? They wanted the previous single to finish its era in the charts first. Superman was successful in Germany, Holland and Belgium, and once again No.1 in Brasil and No.10 in Russia. After that AJ left the group because of a disagreement with the producer. This explains why the third single Oh My God ! was released 3 years after the second one, in 1999 and without any male rap. The happy-euro style was still the same however. It peaked No 1 in Brazil, Russia and Finland.

Then in the end of 1999 came an euro-remix of their first hit |Summertime Is Crazy (featuring Real James). It reached top 40 in Belgium, Holland, Finland and even Japan, No.4 in Russia, No.2  in Romania and No.2 in Brasil. It was recorded in Linköping. The CD maxi contained a Radio edit, an Extended radio edit, a Second Unit de-mix, a Crazy clubmix, a Second Unit trance edit, and a Roppongi edit.

2001 : they have released a new single called Together in their traditional eurodance style and it reached # 1 in Russia and Romania.
