Berri biography

The solo vocalist Berri (real name : Rebecca Sleight) was formerly known as New Atlantic (a collaboration with the producers C. Saunders & R. Lloyd, they released singles such as I Know as well as an album) or U4EA. Her record company is 3 Beat Music Ltd, located in Liverpool (UK).

She had 2 hits under the name of Berri, being very successful in the UK, where they both entered top 10. The first one was Sunshine After The Rain, released in the end of 1995. The single, written by Ellie Greenwich, was published in France under Barclay, in Germany under Metronome Musik. The maxi included 2 remixes by 2 Cowboys (more well-know as M. Braccagni and R. Gallo Salsotto) and 2 others by Dancin Divaz. The 12" included a different tracklisting : Two Cowboys Mix, Original U4EA Breakbeat Mix, New Atlantic Mix and Tall Paul Remix. In exchange, New Atlantic remixed the Two Cowboy's single Everybody Gonfi Gon.

The second one, entitled Shine Like A Star, was out in spring 1996. The same year, Berri appeared on Hector's House - Come And Get My Lovin.

1998 : Berri was featured on the single Here Comes The Rain Again by the group Indigo, a trance cover version of a song originally sung by the Eurythmics.

1999 : a remixed version of the New Atlantic single I Know was released.

2000 : Berri did vocals on Plasma's single Do U Believe (label Wonderboy).
