Aztecca biography
Aztecca was a project founded in 1992 and based in Olofström. Project featured rapper Cristhian Henriquez, 2 female vocalists Emelie Knoester and Elin Ringberg, as well as composers Daniel Ohlsson & Daniel Krejic (who also did some raps parts). Dancers were Helena Wilhelmsson, Sandra Klack, Jenny Blomqvist, Agnetha Leo and Eva Nelson.
A first, an album entitled When Dreams Come True was recorded, but never came out. At that time, female vocalists were Lilli Brdarski and Danijela Zlatanovic.
Single Could It Be Love was released in 1996 under tiny label LiquiDisc (also known for producing Get Wet) located in Tomelilla, Sweden. Recorded at the Digirec Sound Studio for Liquidisc, produced by Rikard and Niclas. Music by Daniel and Daniel with lyrics by Danijela. Raps done by Cristhian & Daniel with vocals by Emelie & Elin. It was produced by Rickard Mattisson and Niclas. They toured as support act for Basic Element.
The same year, a white label EP called Show Me was released in Germany. It contained 3 songs: Show Me, No Fears and Rhythm Is A Dance. There was also a complete 18-tracks album recorded, which was finally released digitally in 2014. Some tracks, such as Shake that Party, featured vocals by Vicky Karlsson.
Emmelie and Elin left the project after Aztecca left record label LiquiDisc. Then the 2 Daniel's started working on a new project in Swedish language called Nane & Deedoo. They also did a remix for MC Miker G's song Backseat Betty
Some demo songs such as Only with you, Summertime and I Believe were recorded, but never officially released.
