Atterberry David biography
David Atterberry a.k.a. MC A.T.B. (no relationship with Andre Tanneberger) was Masterboy's first rapper. He was author of all rap lyrics on The Masterboy Family album, rap performer on all the tracks of that album, excepted on Shake It Up And Dance.
David reminds of these times : "When I was with Masterboy we did just that one album. I had a pretty good time with Masterboy, but I wanted more. The songs didn't have the messages in them that was in me.
We did the one album with I believe two singles. Keep on Dance'n and Indian Grave. They did a re-mix of other songs but there was only one video which played on MTV from Keep on Dance'n. The video was shot in London, I was not happy about the video. That's just my opinion, I thought that we could have done more with the video than we did.
There was a couple of TV shows we did I don't know if any of the performances were sold as a video. As for interviews most of the time Enrico and Tommy were the one's requested to do the interviews. That was cool though. We did a Bravo show in 1991 in Bonn it was great, aside from TV shows we didn't do much travelling.", David says.
David later wrote raps for Comico Base's Chico's Dream.
David explains : "Things in my life began to change and I was not fulfilling all that I knew was in me, so I decided to leave to go and search for what it was I needed to do to be fulfilled. I have not seen Tommy or Enrico in years, although I know where I could find them. Now the music that I am doing now is fulfilling to me. It's life to me and for those that will hear it. I don't just enjoy what I am doing, it's my life".
