Alisha biography
Real Name: Alisha Ann Itkin. United States singer and songwriter, she was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1968.
Alisha had several hits in the 80s and 90s, including Baby Talk, Too Turned On, All Night Passion, Bounce Back and more. She worked with producer Mark Berry on her first album in Vanguard Records and sold over 2 million records with this label. Her second album was released on RCA Records in 1987 called NightWalkin and it included the dance montage song Do You Dream About Me ? for the movie Mannequin. It also included the song Into My Secret which reached #97 on the US charts. This album was also produced by Mark Berry.
Her third album was released on MCA Records in 1990 and was produced by Michael Jay. It included the title track which played on radio and dance clubs internationally as well as the single Wrong Number.
In 1996 Alisha released the eurodance single Wherever the Rhythm Takes Me produced by Critique/Fever Records.
Alisha's most recent single was You Wanna Be A Star, which was the title theme song for the Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon movie Superstar. After taking some time off to have a family, Alisha has decided to work on some projects to be released in 2006. She has also started performing again for different venues in United States.
