2 AM biography
Records company : Hot Productions/NSP records. The members of 2 AM, Danny Rubino and Chris, and producer Victor Franco, were from Toronto.
Produced by Victor Franco (who also worked for Lil Suzy), their first and only album was mostly freestyle but it also contained some excellent eurodance songs. Recorded at the Shack studio in Cony Island (New York), Hi-Time studios and Prime Studios in Toronto (Canada), most titles were edited by the Rob "Razor" Kellman and backed up by two of the most important Freestyle figures. Album was dedicated to Pedro Santos Sr.
The song Celebrate was an amazing eurodance track featuring guest vocals by Naya. Its "unreleased remix" was released on a multi-artists vinyl, along with Club Robbers - Honey, Ride This and DJ Bobo - Together.
Their last single Do U Really Want To Hurt Me was not included on the album. This cover of Culture Club's hit already appeared on a collective single the previous year (along with Sista 2 Sista - The Boy Is Mine) .
A second album was planned but never came out... First album was digitally remastered and re-released in 2013 under American label Essential Media Group
