Raquela - Tell It To My Heart
Multitalented Raquela Burt is no newcomer in the musical business. She is not only a singer, but also a songwriter, an assistant producer and actress. These past years, she successfully released dance tracks that have made her a recognized Billboard artist today. Her spectacular live appearances got her compared to Lady Gaga. She is also a voting member of the Grammy's.
Raquela revisits Taylor Dayne's classic and the result is sure to rock the bigger stages. The single comes along with not less than 18 energetic remixes, one of my favourite being the Kompulsor Pop Remix).

Shanghai'd Beats - Nite of the Groove (Experience of music Bass Mix)
Featured on the Polish compilation Eurodance Attack Vol. 1, this brilliant eurodance remix (and co-production) by Experience of Music is the first release by Shanghai'd Beats.
Shanghai'd Beats is a project by Andreas Hüging (LOFT, Nik Holland etc.). This brilliant eurodance track, combining female vocals by Sue (LOFT) and male raps by Andreas Hüging himself and Boris Pavlovic (BPM), reminds of the most glorious names of German eurodance, such as E-rotic or SEX Appeal. A pumping and uplifting track to move your feet and stir your soul. So great to see that, even nowadays, there are projects which keep on releasing original eurodance tracks.

Energy Productions gathered on this triple CD compilation the best of the best of all times ragga dance. And when one talk about ragga, impossible not to mention big names of the genre such as Shaggy, Bob Sinclar or RIO featuring Tony T (who once visited so many eurodance tracks)... But let's not forget ladies. Sandy Chambers, who is not only famous for her exceptional voice, proved over the years that she was also a talented ragga-rapper. The first and second CD ends with several tracks summarizing Sandy's ragga carreer : from her solo single Bad Boy and her contribution to Corona and Babyroots, to her very recent featurings on d:vision projects Por-Hunters and Mood Velvet. Miss June - Midsummer Night
Centered around the day of summer solstice, midsummer celebrations are particularly important in Northern Europe, especially in Sweden where they are one of the most important holidays of the year. Events include dancing around a huge maypole. Young people put flower bouquets under their pillow, to dream about their lover. This is all Miss June's first single is about. This excellent summer eurodance track also deals with clichés about Swedish girls, not without humor. Tasty and punchy, it has the potential to become a floor smasher.

In-Grid - Les Fous
Here is another great release by Italian artist In-Grid, from her album Passion (already reviewed earlier). Comes along with a video clip shot on the French Riviera where In-grid appears under the aspect of a cartoon character... Songs is French are not usually my cup of tea, but this is a very happy and uplifting electro-house track with nice airy synths. The CD maxi also includes with 3 versions in English, entitled Stick To You. A real invitation to party !

In-Grid - Le Dragueur
In-grid is back with the receipe which made her success : lyrics in French, accordion sound with house influence, and a song about seducers... Written and produced by Ingrid Alberini herself, it was arranged and remixed by Fedo Mora. The result is as usual irresistible. Coming in 5 versions, released in 2009, it had a lot of success in Poland, and In-grid was even invited to perform it in Sopot Festival.

Cisky & Soncini - Hit Cabassa
Cisky & Soncini are Francesco Mantovani and Paolo Soncini. Their new single Hit Cabassa is an instrumental track featuring a lovely crystalline synth melody. The first remixes are very airy and delicate, whereas the C&S Alternative mix adds some beefier synths and beat.

Comes along with not less than 11 remixes to fit any electro addict's taste.

James Manoro - Another Lie
James Manoro comes from Switzerland, with Italian roots from a Sicilian father. He took part to musicals, studio recordings and was lead singer in a pop band, but had always been fascinated by Italo Disco, which lead him to a successful collaboration with his current label White Rose Records.
2 years after his previous single On My Mind, he comes back with Another Lie, another true euro-disco track. Who said that Italo disco was dead ? The single is only available as vinyl, and will be later released on all known mp3 online shops.

Sasha Barbot - Island Dream
The single comes with the original radio edit (acoustic and rather slow), followed by 5 different nice uptempo mixes. It ends with Instrumental riffs and an acapella version. A nice and catchy chorus that you'll soon sing along, Sasha's raw voice, sexy dreamy French vocals by Diane Fleri, uplifting electro synths, contribute to create a nice summer feeling. My 2 favourites : without hesitation the Rivaz radio edit and the Rivaz riff mix !

Schenetti vs Rivaz - Who Da Fuck (part 2)
A production by Davide Riva (JK, Whigfield) in collaboration with Nicola "NS" Schenetti. A quite minimalistic and hypnotic tune, with a discrete homage to Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive. And, for delicate ears, there are even 3 censored versions :-)

Francesco Rossi - Princesa
DJ and producer Francesco Rossi started deejaying at the age of 14. He is currently working on his first album which is expected to be launched by 2010.
Princesa is an intrumental single, quite minimalistic, with heavy tribal drums, a few melancolic notes, and samples of singing voices at the background.

Gambafreaks feat Nicole - Hits remix EP 2010
This EP is a collection of critically acclaimed Stefano Gambarelli aka Gambafreaks's 4 latest songs featuring vocals by Nicole : Everybody Love, Never Say Never, Natural Womam and Freedom. A collection of hot club house tracks layered with Nicole's signature, subtle bass growl carrying the groove until the vocals drop. My personal favourite : the Lori B Vanity Kills mix of Never Say Never, especially the intro.

In-Grid - Passion (album)
In 2001, In-grid scored a huge hit with Tu Es Foutu. This was the beginning a very successful carreer, leading her to become one of the key figures on the Italo-house scene. She is back with her fourth studio album, completely sung in French, released at the very beginning of 2010. I am usually not very keen on songs in French, but this is a very good dance album, sure to delight all In-Grid's fans.
It starts with the current single Les Fous, a real invitation to party. Then, another of her hits, Le dragueur, with its accordion theme reminding of Tu Es Foutu. The action continues with Amour Ma Passion, a real electro declaration of love. Afterwards, we have the very catchy Chaos. Movie Star is a slammin' uptempo track. Next featured in the album is Jalousie and its bombastic electronic grooves. Afterwards, we have Les Jeux Sont Faits, a song about rupture. Then comes the hot and sexy Sweet Desire, reminding somehow of a Mylène Farmer track. Afterwards, the very unexpected and happy track Vive Le Swing. Then, the midtempo track C'est L'amour. Follows Le Cri Du Coeur, a nice dance track with a strong oriental touch. Afterwards, the brilliant Tout Pour Toi. We then have Papillonne Sur Moi, a happy song with a hard to classify style. A Ma Facon sounds very retro too, with its reggae beat and its accordion sound. The album closes with Tu Es La?, an uplifting track featuring Pochill, first released as a single back in 2005.

Experience of Music finally come back with a new track ! Featuring vocals by Kitty, their new vocalist, this is an uplifting and very sunny song, perfect for a summer hit.
