Your debut like an artist came with dance project Sonic Dream Collective?

Yes, it did. I was 19 at the time and was thrilled to be a singer. It was a dream come true for me.

What is the story of Sonic Dream Collective ? Who came with this name?

I actually don’t remember who it was that came up with the name. I think we just decided all together. SDC started out as a popgroup back in -94. We where old friends who wanted to try living the dream of music

Sonic Dream Collective was launched on music scene by Solid Base team ?

No, that’s not true. Solid Base was simply another group/band on the same recordlabel as us. How ever the did a couple of remixes of our songs.

Do you keep in touch with Isabelle Heitman or Thomas Nordin ?

No, we where never that close

One of my favorite songs are Gravity & Last Wish... what can you tell me about those tracks ?

Gravity was a floorfiller at the time. I loved it from the very beginning but it was very hard to sing as I recall it. -

Last Wish is my favorite too. I really love that song and I love singing it. It was actually an old song that Jon wrote a couple of years before we started the group and he asked us if we thougt it was okey for the upcoming album .

Sonic Deam was the place (Hitch) were you met Andreas ?

Well, I met Anders in the studio but it was before we started the band. It started out with him falling in love with my singing – but he had another girlfriend at the time. However they broke up and we started dating. Shortly there after we started SDC.

What happened after you left this project?

Anders and I got married and we now have three children.

Jon also has a big family.

I have a solocarrier where I sing in Swedish. Its soft songs and the lyrics are about my children and my life.

Are you thinking to comeback with this project ?

Not really, we joke about it sometimes though…

Do you still keep in touch with Jon Hällgren ?

Yes, we talk to each other now and then.

Why did you stop to do music ?

I never stopped!

What is the best thing that happened in your life?

To become a mother.

If you had to choose between singing or doing TV commercials what will be ?

Singing of course. Fortunately I don’t have to choose.

With whom do you want to make a featuring ?

Wow, I have no idea. Perhaps George Michael;)

How is Linn in real life ?

I’m a very lucky woman that has a wonderful family and that’s the most important thing to me. I sing and write music, go horsebackridning and love to be whith all my friends.

What do you think of this current 90s revival ?

I think its funny actually. We’ve all grown up and some things are better to just remember than to relive…

I’m going to record an album this fall. And looking forward to it!
