Jackie Sangster was born in London on 18th November 1974. She currently lives in Amsterdam. Her motto in life is : "All dreams come true". The three most important things for her are her dog, her soulmate, and music. Since 2001 she's been the new Culture Beat female vocalist. Sparks are the brothers Ron and Russel Mael, and they are no newcomers in the music business. Actually, they started back in the 70s but after 16 albums (mainly pop and rock) they did a pause. Singer Miriam Stockley was born 15 April 1962 in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the age of 11, she and her older sister Avril formed the group, the Stockley Sisters, and had a hit with a cover of Shocking Blue's Venus in 1976 on the South African Top 30, ten years before Bananarama's version. Pop trio formed in 1995, consisting of Claire Richards (born 17th of August 1977, in Hillingdon), Cossie and Bonnie. They chose the groups name by picking random letters while playing a game of scrabble. After releasing two singles in 1996, Heart and Soul which reached # 69 in the UK singles chart and Baby I Love You which peaked at #64, as well as a few tracks released on Japanese compilation, the group were dropped from their record label. Bonnie left the group, being replaced by Miriama, who would later became a member of Solid HarmoniE. According to Claire, the producer only wanted to keep on working with Cossie.

Ultra-Sonic is a project of Rodger Hughes and Mallorca Lee, from Aryshire, Scotland (also known as Brooklyn Boy, Experimental Fluxtuation, Lord Michael). They signed a recording deal in 1991 with Scottish independent dance label Clubscene Records and released their first 12" record called Obsession (which would be re-released in 1994), touring the UK & Ireland. From 1991-1998 Ultra-Sonic released 14 singles (most of them were rather hardcore-oriented, unfortunately for euro fans), 4 studio albums, 1 live album and 2 full length tour videos. Albums sold over 50 000 copies in the UK alone (with pre-sale orders at 30 000) and around 400 000 in combined singles and albums in just under three years. Also the bands video sold 6 500 copies in four days, outselling Disney's The Jungle Book.

Behind Urban Cookie Collective stands Rohan Heath (born 19th July 1964 in Great Britain), keyboardist, who writes and produces the songs. He had formerly worked with Yargo and A Guy Called Gerald. The female vocalist is Diane Charlemagne, who also took part to the writing of some of the songs. The other members are Simon Bertall (born on the 17th October 1967) and Peter Samson (bongo player, born on the 15th of May 1968). Also were included, Marty (MC) and DJ Pete (DJ).
