Meyra was born in Guatemala, and at early age part of her family moved to Mexico. She started school at 4 and was surrounded with a lot of family talent for poetry : her grandpa was a writer, her uncles would do athletics. From the age of 6, she began taking dancing classes, gymnastics, theater and more at school, which took her to her first classical dance recital at the age of 8. From then on, took dancing and singing more seriously with voice lessons, classical singing and ballet, jazz and hip-hop and theater. At the age of 16, she obtained my first singing/dancing role in the musical "Cats". As a dancer for Televisa Mexico, she toured with different very well known singers, participating in TV shows, music videos, conventions, in Mexico and abroad.

Tina Cousins began as a fashion model. She performed in a Rolling Stones video when she was 20 years old. The turning point of her career was a big fashion show in where she replaced a singer that cancelled. A local record company made a deal with Tina and arranged her to PWL studios where she began working with the producer Pete Waterman (also known from Steps' songs) and composers like Karl Twigg and Mark Topham. 'When you've done modelling everyone thinks that it's not really your voice on the record. At first I had to convince people that I really can sing' she explains.
