 Vivian Sessoms was born and raised in Harlem in a musical family. Her whose mother was a session/jingle-singer, and her father was a flautist/percussionist. No wonder if she learned the wonder of music at a young age. As she was only 9, she had begun work doing television and radio voiceovers. She attended auditions for various Broadway plays, took lessons to train her voice and to learn the piano. Around the age of 16, Vivian began composing her own songs. She did a tour with with pianist/composer Ryuichi Sakamoto who taught her a lot. She appeared on several of his releases, such as albums Sweet Revenge and Smoochy Later she worked with artists such as P. Diddy, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Donna Summer, Keith Sweat, Sinead O'Connor, Lisa Lisa, Robin S and Stevie Wonder.

Dennis Mavashev (aka Sniper) was born in Russia on January 6th, 1974. At the
age of 9 went to music school and learned how to play flute. After graduation
from music school, he on his own learned how to play piano. He wrote his first
melody in 1986. He had won an amateur competition in song writing sponsored
by the state in 1990. He recorded his first in 1993, after his arrival to USA,
where he met his future companion Reginald. Dennis graduated from Queens College

Her real name is Paula Brown. She was born in Washington DC in the early70's.
She is a blond, green-eyed Black woman. She learned classical dance (her mother
was her ballet teacher). After she ended college, she went to New York to begin
a career. She was chosen after an audition for theTV-serie Fame and went to
Los Angeles where she met Janet Jackson with whom whe created her first choreographs
for her album Control. Afterwards she danced with Prince (for the video of Batdance)
and Janet Jackson and sung with Paula Abdul, James Brown and Snoop Doggy Dog.
Her brother died from AIDS in 1990.

 T-roc, born in Germany, is also known under the name of Tiger One. He replaced
Rod D as rapper for the group Fun
Factory. He took part, among others, to the hit singles I Wanna B with
U and et Celebration. After he left Fun factory he collaborated to
a Romanian project called K1 with Radu Fornea, Daniel Alexandrescu, and Mircea
"X-Mann" Presel. They released singles such as Ma Luai or Plangeam

Joe aka Jacki was born in the US 1972. He took part in operation Desert Storm in the Gulf whilst
in the army. He then left the forces and began rapping with friends like
Rod D (Fun Factory). He became rapper for the project X-Pression in 1994, contributing to the songwriting as well. In 1995, he created the very succesful euro-rap project Down Low in 1995 with the rapper Mike Dalien. Producers were exactly the same team as X-pression : Harald Schubert and Daniel Gonschorek, along with Volker Lindner.

 Melanie Janene Thornton was born in May 13th 1967 in Charleston, South Carolina. She studied voice
from the age of six, played the piano and the clarinet and learned how to act
and to dance. She had long dreamed of a career in music. Her parents had a friend of a friend
who was a singer in Charleston. Even though she didn't get to go out and see
her, she saw pictures and heard them talk about her work and heard her talk
about going out on the road.When she was growing up her mother would listen
to Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack and The Temptations, a lot of the Motown music
artists. She would mimic the female vocalists she saw on TV or heard on radio. Later, Melanie financed her College studies with appearances in talent
shows and smaller band concerts. She frequented a club called The Peacock Lounge,
getting up and doing jam sessions when the live band invited people up to sing.
