Touch El Arab was created by Philippe Olivier and started back in 1987 with
the ethno-pop track Muhammar. The single was very successful at that
time, but no other single followed. Philippe Olivier gave up the project in
1988. But 6 years later he decided, with the producer Alexander Friedrich,
to release a new version of Muhammar. They found a female vocalist by
chance : Diana Luiz was a student working in a pizzeria. She happened to deliver
a pizza at their studio. Their production result in 2 great Eurodance tracks

 Alexander (sometimes wrongly called Alfonso) Walser was born July 16th, 1982 in Switzerland. He grew up in The Principality of Liechtenstein. His fathers side grandfather was the legendary Franco "Le Grand Maitre". When he was younger, he won several dance competitions, TV and radio shows, becoming the first radio personalty in his home country. In 1997, he became Fun Factory's new leadsinger, rapper and composer.
