The project was founded by Miguel Blasco in the early '90s, featuring the performers Alessandra Rosaldo and Chacho Gaytán. Alessandra Rosaldo (born Alejandra Sánchez Barrero on September 11, 1971 in Mexico City ) started singing at the age of 12, soon becoming a backup singer for Latin star Lucero. She was also starred in a children's movie. At age 19 she met with Chacho Gaytán at an airport, since then they've become great friends.

In 1995 Sony Music Mexico launched to the market a quite unusual dance project : Sor Inés, a nun of a catholic college in Monterrey, Mexico. Produced by José Ramón Florez, one of the most succesful producers on the the moment (Fey, Giovanna, Sentidos Opuestos, etc.), her first single was a eurodance song called Un Rayo De Sol, reminding a little bit of Whigfield, and it was a hit. Twist was a teenage women Mexican group created in 1998. The members were Tabatha (formerly from the project Jeans), Natalia Lafourcade and Pamela, aged between 16 and 18. Pamela used to take part to the TV show "La hora de los chavos" on TV Azteca.
