Tameka Starr biographyReal name : Doris Diggs. She is also known as Tameko Star. She had spent most of her childhood on military bases around Europe and always wanted to be famous. She arrived in Italy and released her first solo single Going In Circles in 1992 under Calypso Records. It was produced, arranged and mixed by Acchioni, Artusi & Stecca. She also did vocals on Lowee's single Now I Feel. The next year, she recorded Feel The Rhythm (the lyrics were written by Cristina Dori) and released it under the italian label New Meal Power (SAIFAM). She probably also contributed to Wildside's first and only album (credited as Tameka). In 1994 Tameka became the voice and frontwoman of the project Livin' Joy. She scored many hits such as Dreamer and Don't Stop Movin' and recorded an album. 1999 : Going In Circles was re-released under the labels Dos or Die in Germany, then in 2001 as a one-sided promo. 2005 : Tameka was featured by the project Each Others on the single Fast Car 05.
