Star Maker biographyStar Maker was a Polish eurodance label, active till 1998. Albums of artists such as Alpha Beat, Karolina, Dance Bond and D'Adekoya were released under this label Some members of Star Maker Studios were involved in the mafia. The artists themselves were not really aware of this. In late 1997, probably September, Polsat channel, who had been helping promote Dance World and Star Maker, and their Eurodance television program Dance World, found out this and pulled away from Star Maker and cancelled the program Dance World from their channel. In 1998, however, Star Maker started promotion with a brand new channel, Nasza TV. Releases from 1997 were finally re-released under new titles. Some others were cancelled. Karina Sedkowska left Star Maker in 1997 around the time of her second album, maybe for this reason. One of the main producers, a mafia leader, was murdered in 1998.
