Luigi Stanga biography

Italian producer and songwriter Luigi Stanga was Born in Brescia on May 1st 1958. He taught himself to play electric bass and at 16, formed the group Freedom Riders with whom he performed in city clubs. Luigi studied classic guitar, first with Maestro Francesco Gorio and then with the greatly missed Maestro Ruggero Chiesa, obtaining full marks after courses of Chambre Ensemble and Harmony at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, graduating in 1985. He also studied classic composition and string orchestration privately with Maestro Antonio Giacometti, teacher at the Conservatory in Modena, Italy.

Luigi's activities as producer and songwriter began in 1980, his first production being Love is Like a Game featured by the group Hot Cold - a big hit in Italy and all over Europe. He produced songs for the most important dance labels all over Europe such as EMI Italy, WEA UK, Sony France, Max Spain, Cleveland City UK, Media Italy and Time Italy.

Owner and manager of LED Records label, he contributed to eurodance projects Love 4 Sale, Black House, Nellow, X-Sample and Maria Short. His composition/production entitled Dreamin' in Buristed Road by X-Sample met with great success in Italy.

Over the last twenty years, Luigi has composed, produced, arranged and mixed up to 500 dance-oriented songs (Pop Dance, Eurobeat, Para Para, Speed, Trance, Techno and House) that have been particularly successful in Japan and South East Asia. Most of his productions have USA licenses and have been used as soundtracks, in commercial advertising and for international TV series such as the world-known TV show "Sex & The City". He currently lives in Desenzano del Garda.
