Sor Ines biographyIn 1995 Sony Music Mexico launched to the market a quite unusual dance project : Sor Inés, a nun of a catholic college in Monterrey, Mexico. Produced by José Ramón Florez, one of the most succesful producers on the the moment (Fey, Giovanna, Sentidos Opuestos, etc.), her first single was a eurodance song called Un Rayo De Sol, reminding a little bit of Whigfield, and it was a hit. A short album followed, featuring a cover of Soeur Sourire's Dominique, which was also released as single ... In 1995 too, Sor Inés collaborated in a collective project called Niños De La Calle, along with other Mexican artists such as Fey, Mercurio and Magneto.
