Sonic Surfers biographySeveral vocalists such as Vivian Black (who started her carreer back in 1990, doing backing vocals for projects such as Tony Scott, Brook's N Dance or Juan Wells, and who is currently starting a solo carreer with the single Feel So Good) and Jocelyn Brown took part to this project. The rapper of the group is called Pryhme (ex rapper of the groups E-motion, King Bee). The 2 first singles were released back in 1991. Beat Of Zen was composed by Marcel Bakker & G.M. Moseley I, produced by ZeO and re-mixed by Marcello. It was a club hit. Then Having A Great Time was Norry G "The Key". The following singles were produced by Dorian Broekhuyse and Martin Trans (aka Brook & Trance). Take Me Up featured the voice of Jocelyn Brown. It contained a Midnight Mix, and Extended version and a DJ Mix. The single Reach Out was actually a double-A side CD, with 4 mixes of Reach Out and 5 mixes of Tell Me. In 1996 Pryhme started a solo-carrer. He released a R&B single entitled U Gotta Get Down. 2011 : Beat Of Zen was covered by The Shrink Reloaded 2012 : The Shrink Reloaded released a 2012 version of their cover of Beat Of Zen, featuring vocals by Ingrid Simons.
