Michael Simon biography

German DJ and musician based in Hamburg, Michael Simon was born there on 29th of August 1972. In the age of 15 he went to a club for the first time in his life and fell in love with music and DJing. He first developed his skills on friends parties, then got an offer to play in the legendary club Opera House. Then he became resident DJ. His first single was a cover of Redhead Kingpin and the F.B.I, was a hit and sold over 50.000 copies. He then created his own studio. He founded the project Soulforce with Manfred Thiers and composed many clubhits and remixes for Mary J. Blige, Lil' Kim and Phil Collins. He also stood behind the Shahin & Simon project (with Shahin Moshirian), which toured with Scooter in 1996. Then he started working as a technician for Scooter.

1998 : Michael Simon released the single Feel Like Dancing featuring Kane.

2000 : Vocalist Terri B. (2 Eivissa) introduced Michael to Jerry Ropero. Together with Mirko von Schlieffen, they founded the project produced Combo Cubano, and a lot of tracks and remixes followed.

2001 : his single To Be Love was a success worldwide

2006 : Jerry Ropero and Michael Simon, along with Mazaya, recorded a track called Home Alone, wich was signed to Erick Morillos label Subliminal Records. They also released the singles Videoscream and Ocean Drums. Michael became an official member of Scooter project.

2007 : Jerry Ropero and Michael Simon released the single Berimbau (vs Mendoca Do Rio).
