Shape biographyDon't Leave Me Now was composed and written by Pesch Claus C., Bernd Schöler, Klaus Demmerling, Peine Andreas, Jagusch Uwe. It was released under Calling Card Music Production (Sub-Q-Recordings) in 1996 and was featured on 2 German compilations. This song has a several episodes story. First time it appeared on a mixed compilation
called Dancemix 1992-1996 in 1999. I guess it was only a compilation
track because the megamix was produced by the same team as Shape project itself.
In the booklet of this mixed compilation was a card to vote for the biggest
eurodance hits, which should be released in 2000 on an unmixed compilation,
called this time Because this unmixed compilation was quite successful, they released Dancefloor Hits 2 on which Shape found it´s way. The funny thing about it is that the production date of Don't Leave Me Now was 1999 in the first compilation and 1996 in the second one. The track was probably never released as a single. The same producers team who created Shape also included a second song on Dancemix
